I have so many PL cards that need to be organized. It is the one thing in my room that I wish I could wave a magic wand over and have it DONE.
What is the number one thing you wish the organization fairies would take care of tonight?

Great question! Maybe people can share if they have good tips for others' "needs improvement" areas? I would certainly welcome any suggestions. I'm happy with how my supplies are stored, it's my "work in progress" and finished items that I don't have a good system for. I have places for finished cards and layouts - layouts into scrapbooks and cards go out in the mail. It's all the other finished things like mini albums, junk journals, home decor, DIY embellishments, etc. that don't have a good system in place. It's the "small business" side of crafting rather than the "hobby" part of it that I need an organization fairy to help me with.

my clear stamps/dies have outgrown their shoebox so that storage needs an upgrade and probably dividers to make it easier to find what I'm looking for. My wooden stamps are in a drawer which means I rarely bother digging through the jumble to find one to use.
so yes - stamps and dies I think

I have an old Recollections rolling cart (the kind the holds 7 Iris containers). I use this to store my work in progress things like mini albums or pages from my 2002 books. If I need more than 7 containers, I make myself get rid of something. It does encourage me not to leave so many things unfinished. I feel like 7 is a good number!

I keep my washi tape in one and the other one has some extra washi in it. Now that I think of it, I used to store some wooden stamps in a similar shot glass holder when I taught elementary school. Kids could pick a stamp from the holder and put one on their paper. I am thinking I need to break out my favorite wooden stamps (the smaller ones) and fill that puppy up. Thanks for helping me with figuring out what to do!

Paper. Paper needs to be organized That is one category I have organized well! I like spending time with my paper. I usually buy lines and not pads, so most of it gets stored in a baggie on the shelves.

Embellishments. They're here, there, and everywhere. I'm fine with how my paper and tools are organized but my embellishments have gone wild.

A bunch of years back I had hardly any die cuts, words stickers, ephemera…..the little things that get tucked in or sprinkled or added at the end. Now I have way too many. I keep them on a pegboard or in a few deep containers but it drives me nuts shuffling through. It’s overwhelming. And time consuming. Help!

My stamps organized so I can easily find the images in different categories. Like the set of Christmas stamps that have words that could work for regular pages.

In my craft room, right now it's the pens and markers that need organized in a better way. I have different pens and markers for different purposes and they've sort of outgrown their original storage, so they're currently in a hodge-podge of different places. They're mostly organized by type/usage but not all of the same types are together - some collections are split due to lack of space in my original system. Alcohol markers, watercolor markers, brush tips, dual tips, calligraphy tips, fine-line journaling markers, midliner planner markers, water-resistant pens that I can use on top of watercolor, paint markers, chalk markers, metallics...help!

Could you cut apart PVC pipe to different lengths and glue them together? That way you'd have as many as you needed or as many as your space allowed. I have seen some huge marker collections kept this way.

I have seen some huge marker collections kept this way. Thanks, 950nancy! I was looking at something like that (on one of the 20 or so YT organizing videos I ran through already...), but the main problem is that I'd still need enough shelf space to store the one large piece. And I'd want to be able to move individual bins/drawers/whatever of a particular marker type to my work area while I'm working on a project. I do have my alchohol markers stored in a round tin turned on its side, but I don't have enough shelf space for ALL of the other pens & markers to be in tins on the same shelf or in one large storage system (like suggested above) anywhere. So different types are scattered in different storage all over the room...not really great. I think it's a matter of rearranging/reorganizing things to create a space for marker/pen storage and then finding/creating a system that can be flexible for how I want to use it.

I am extremely organized in regards to my scrapbook supplies. My photos, however, are a complete mess. I think when I switched from film to digital in 2008, it when things when amuck. Some years aren't printed at all. Some years are partially printed. I think what happened is if I want to print one photo to frame it, I printed some but not all? Anyways....I am way behind on my scrapbooking and photo organization & printing. I'm going with the philosophy of >> It will get done, when it gets done.

It's my paper. All of my paper. My many, many, many sheets of pattern paper. I have paper stored in a few different places and it isn't really working for me. I have some stacking paper holders, some vertical storage and a shameful stack of IRIS containers that I haven't look in for, oh, about five years.
I started storing paper vertically for a couple of specific projects a number of years ago, and I really like it, so any new paper that has come into my life is stored that way. However, I have a treasure trove of IRIS boxes with collections, miscellaneous projects, etc. that haven't been touched in a long time. I'm trying to go through them one by one, and group together the collections I want to keep in zip top bags for vertical storage, and then file rest in colour order, but it has been a slow process. Add in that I sometimes can't decide what I want to keep together for layouts and what I want to just use on its own...
To be honest, I have been surprised by what I have found...some of it I still like after 10 years, but it has been a slow process and I am ready to just be done.

And now I have about 70k digital photos and have to go through them and delete duplicates, blurry shots, etc., and finish tagging them. I just take so many photos every day it's become unmanageable. I also have various batches of them uploaded to various photo storage sites and really need to consolidate those.

I'm dealing with my mum's - identifying, dating, labelling...about 130 years worth (1890-2019) - mine are mostly organised but could use better labelling.

I love them all so getting rid of them is not an option lol I did my stamps last summer. I did end up throwing quite a few out or donating them, but I had some olllllllld stamps. The nice clear ones all found a new home in my scrap room. I ended up using pull out baskets from Target (bathroom section) to store them.
