If you look at the pictures of the house you will conclude the previous owner had an affinity for knotty pine. He did! Every room in the house including closets, bathrooms and kitchen.
Odd to me that only 2 photos are of the inside of the house. That is a bad sign. Maybe they didn't clean the rest of the house? The outside looks good, but I want to see the inside!

Far away! It is on a 3 acre plot... My brother thinks he wants the house. I asked about no photos in the listing. Brother says the owner died, unexpectedly, and daughter was cleaning and packing and that is why no photos. Rest of rooms were too cluttered to photo.

If you look at the pictures of the house you will conclude the previous owner had an affinity for knotty pine. He did! Every room in the house including closets, bathrooms and kitchen. We bought our house from the original owner and her late DH was a local builder. So this was a custom home in the late 1950s. Every single room, other than the front bath (baby blue tile) was finished with wood. Depending on the room it was either mahogany, oak or ash and every bit of it was tongue and groove (some of that quite elaborate). The floors are the original quarter sawn oak. It was like a ship! For me it was too much of a good thing. DH (and every single man that ever came in that door) loved it. Over the years, some has been removed during remodeling. What is left is painted. So I can understand the guy having an affinity for pine. It seems to be a 'guy thing'! Good luck to your brother getting it if he decides to pursue it. What is the market like in that area?
