Considering getting a Walmart + membership, but not sure if it’s worth the money. Already have an Amazon and Costco memberships. Not sure if I want to pay for another one. Appreciate any feedback.

It has definitely been a benefit to us, it stops the impulse purchases.
When I go to WM with a list, I might spend an extra $25 of stuff that is not on the list but I know we need, and maybe $20 on things that I don't necessarily need (oreo cookies, a new lipstick, something in crafts).
If DH goes with, that don't need impulse amount doubles, at least.
I do like the app where you can just scan the barcode of an item as you finish it and it will automatically add it to your cart. It also tells you which items you have bought before and how many times.
It has been nice in the cold weather to just have to openy door and the groceries are right there.

Ask yourself what benefit would you use from a Walmart+ membership that you can't get from Amazon or Costco.
I looked at it and for us it is not worth it. I already get free shipping from Amazon and they have what I need. We don't have Walmart gas stations out here, not that I know of. I don't buy groceries online. And when I go to Walmart, it is mainly for groceries. I don't really look in other departments at Walmart.

I tried it. I started with a smaller order to be delivered. First, the driver was running late. Or maybe the store didn't pull the order when they should've. Then a few items were removed because the store didn't have them. Then when it was delivered, half of my order was literally in the middle of the road. I'm not joking. Thankfully I do not live on a busy road but seriously, I should not have to find my stuff left on the road. Then it looked like one of the packages was dented as if they threw it at my door. To top it all off, we live less than 10 miles from the closest WM.
I changed the tip to the minimum, called the store and left feedback. I was all set to give the driver 25% and everything. I cancelled my membership the next day.

I decided for me it’s not worth it. Since you have to tip and I just couldn’t justify the cost plus the tips. I don’t do Instant Cart either though.

They have a free 30 day trial. You could do that and see what you think.

My MIL uses it as she is Immunocompromised and this way she doesn’t have to go in the store very often. She loves it especially for heavy items.

Be advised the driver for Walmart gets the tip whether from you or not. Keep in mind the tip is the only extra charge.. other then you Walmart+ charge. Plus also covers everything available from Walmart from a single box of bandaids, NO minimum. Although you can also get bandaids with your groceries too as well as most OTC products. Walmart you pay regular store prices.
The driver is NOT the Walmart shopper.

I joined for a week at the holidays to get an XBox game system for my son with the early shopper pass for plus members. If I thought I would use it I would keep it. I think it's a good price compared to others.

I do like the app where you can just scan the barcode of an item as you finish it and it will automatically add it to your cart. It also tells you which items you have bought before and how many times. This is why I want it. But for the cost of it - it just isn't worth it. I can not get delivery, as I live 30 miles from my closest Walmart. I don't really do the online shopping thing, to pick up (and why would I pay for that!). I do order a few things from Walmart. com - but it is free if you go over $35 - so I just wait for that total to hit before I order. I just think scanning stuff would make checkout so much faster. We have the self checkouts now, but they are the tiny ones with no belt or space to unload your cart and a very small space to put full bags. They are all crammed together in a square space so people are jammed up together trying to do the self checkout. It's a super pain to do if you are by yourself. Easier if you have someone scanning and someone bagging to keep space open.

I've done pickup for stuff but not pick up for groceries. There was no charge.

I’ve had it since it first came out. I use it a lot for grocery delivery and my son uses my account to get groceries delivered to his house as well. I’m having some medical issues that don’t allow me to drive, so it’s been a big convenience for me.

I love our Walmart + membership. For us, totally worth it. Weird things get substituted occasionally, but you can either accept or decline then substitutions. Only 1 time in 2 years have I had an issue with an order running later and that was on NYE. Totally understandable, and it was there 2 hours later. A few weeks ago my order was delivered, I ran out to get it, and it was someone elses order. Oops. Honestly I was really irritated. But I called the store, they had the driver come back and get it, and brought my correct order. Fixed in less than an hour.
I don't mind tipping the drivers, they need to make $ too.
Plus 5 cents off per gallon of gas at their gas station helps justify it.
It has cut down on impulse buys at least 75% for us. I have always hated grocery shopping, so to have items delivered is a huge win.
I just wish we could leave notes, like for bananas I would request the ones they pick to be green still, or as close to it as possible.
Returning items is super easy too. If you aren't happy with something, just marked it off on the app. 99% of the time you don't even need to return it. They just credit you back.
I love it!

I decided for me it’s not worth it. Since you have to tip and I just couldn’t justify the cost plus the tips. I don’t do Instant Cart either though. You don’t have to tip! I rarely tip more Thant two to three percent or 4 bucks max and many orders are 200+! Thrives only deliver and bring to the door. Walmart employees do the shopping. Also, they do substitutions but if you don’t like them, it’s easy to return and I have never had to bring anything back. we have had it for a little over a year, and had 179 deliveries (yikes!) and it’s really been worth it. Amazon fresh cannot compare! Kroger only does pickup and you don’t know what the substitutions or what they are out of until you get there! My daughter in Wisconsin also uses my account. I like that when you order things, shipping is free. I have had items sent to friends and MIL at no shipping cost. the few times I have done the two hour or less deliver, it’s arrived in less than an hour! In the rain and cold! No complaints on that.

$10 a month is cheap for delivery to door. And that is everything not just groceries.
