Now that you all talked me into getting a cameo, I need to figure out which bundle. I was looking online at the silhouette website. It seems they have the best deal with the bundles. I wouldn't mind getting the portrait and cameo bundle but it doesn't list the Studio Designer Edition. Would I have to purchase that separate? I also thought about running to Michael's and getting the Cameo for the $199 deal but I have to look at what it comes with. Any advice?
Thanks!

Yes, you do need to buy the designer edition separate. However, there are places that will give you a discount or some other incentive. One place to go to is SVGCuts. They have SVG files that you'll be able to use with the designer edition so they will often promote the DE. I am sure there are others but SVGCuts is where I bought mine.
I'd go with the Cameo bundle. It'll be easier to cut on the whole 12X12 mat.

Do you want the V. 1 machine or the V 2 machine? Silhouette has the V.2 with the software for $269 with free shipping. Coupon code: BARGAIN www.silhouetteamerica.com/blackfridayAmazon did have V1 bundles at a good price, but they may have sold out of them?

I got the vinyl bundle for $199 on Overstock. It seemed to come with the most stuff, plus I'm interested in trying the vinyl. I ordered a couple of extra accessories for 50% off at amazon as well.

Ack! I didn't know there was a 1 and a 2! Had to look it up! I want the newer one. Is the silhouette site offering the new one?
