I incorporated a rule only buying planner supplies when they are at least 70% off. Sometimes 60% lol

Well... I have found myself with a lot of time on winter weekends to scrap and watch youtube and Vicki Boutin FNLs which in turn made me realize I NEEDED a bunch of mixed media supplies! So while I used to spend my money on paper collections, I'm now building my collection of texture paste & glazes, stencils, stamps, distress inks, distress crayons, stencil brushes, foundation paper, a big shot and some dies. I am really enjoying experimenting with the mediums!

The craft room is well-stocked, and I need to make a big dent in my paper-and-embellishments stash (I would be embarrassed to admit how much October Afternoon I'm still hoarding, for example, LOL), so I'm trying to stick to just one purchasing weakness-- tools. But now and then, a unique stamp set or made-for-me paper collection will turn my head. I'm trying to purge as I purchase, though, to keep a bit of balance.

Currently I'm frozen to try and use things. I signed up to make 50 cards before buying anything else. And work has been so busy I haven't had much time for creating.

I'll occasionally buy if I am concerned I won't be able to get it again. DH calls it fomo, but I swear it isn't really. So much stuff sells out, I am bummed if I pass on something I truly love for no other reason than I am not shopping right now. Like the PC deal on Vintage Coastal; I am having a field day with that collection right now. Could I have passed? Yes. Did it make me very happy to not have passed? Oh yes indeed!

Great question! I am never frozen and I buy what I want. But I don't have any LSS so I limit my in person purchases to Hobby Lobby and conventions. I also buy CM and CTMH from local consultants.
I did recently buy a large amount of individual papers from Scrapbook Customs and Scrap Your Trip for a specific project. In my life my shopping season is always a busy one.

I am frozen until I use some of my digital supplies and figure out what I actually use. I made a couple fun pages for December so it is a start. Maybe I will thaw for iNSD or after I finish my 2021 yearbook.
