I always seem to come here asking for advice around travel.
3 girlfriends and I are meeting in Minot ND for a weekend, is there anything we shouldn't miss? I can't find much on Tripadvisor (maybe that says enough right there, haha!) Any hole in the wall places to eat? Any unique places to stay? Airbnb, VBRO - I searched but found nothing. Most of our time will be spent in the hotel room or house visiting and catching up, but would like to have some other options. Nice dinners out, maybe a Spa experience, winery tour, etc etc. We're even willing to travel outside Minot a bit... 3 of us are driving down from Canada, 1 comes from Duluth.
For those that answered my post about the Pioneer Woman and Pawhuska we didn't end up getting there, instead we chose to stay in Phoenix a couple extra days and then toured/hiked the Grand Canyon and Page Az on the way home (that was a road trip, coming from Canada).

I live in Minot, and I like the diversity brought by Minot State University students and people affiliated with Minot Air Force Base. We have many chain restaurants. But you will want to enjoy unique, local ones. Downtown, we have High Third and the Prairie Sky bakery and Starving Rooster. For bed and breakfasts, I would love to stay at Dakota Rose, a Victorian house. I have attended tea parties there. Personally, I love visiting the Scandinavian Park with its Stave Church.
