I was able to get one of my March goals completed - start making spring cards. I wanted to put together a DIY version of Shimelle's Best of Both Worlds kit for March but I never did. I already put one together to use in April - so I'm ahead of the game this time around. For April, my goals are: - Finish & send cards for the 2peas spring card exchange
- Pick a vacation and start scrapbooking it. I don't care which trip it is, just get started already!!
- For any non-vacation layouts: use the DIY Best of Both Worlds April stash kit.
- Make a Simple Stories flipbook mini album - maybe summer or beach theme??

good goals so far... I'm not quite sure on mine...like March, I think mostly just get creative although I'm hoping for a wee bit more crafty time in April. Some things on my mind to work on which may or may not pan out 1. continue weekly Ukraine updates for at least March 2022 - I got week one done today (31/3) and have week 2 started 2. continue identifying and labelling photos - progress would be good 3. Ryann - I'm going to steal your idea here and pick a trip to start...I have several to choose from 4. Easter cards

I’m going to start on all things electronic. My phone is 7/8 dead & needs to be replaced. I primarily use it for taking photos & texting. My computer is dying & needs to be replaced. I need better organization of my photos and I need to upgrade & then update my back ups. I am not a techie. When I get tired of doing all that, I need to make another 50 cards for Cards for Kindness. I’m dreading April. I know I’ll feel so much better when the electronics gets done, but I’m really dreading it.

Keep current with 2022 weekly project life type album I have been doing great on my PL album, but I’ve been “stuck” starting the other two albums I want to do and I just need to do one page in each to break the ice.
One album is an all about me one with AE pieces of the past, home, and me stamps as jumping off points.
The other album is one dd1 said she’d love if I did- taking older photos and some newer ones and making an album about things that are our our family’s “things” - like special vacation places, traditions we have, old toys and games, that kind of thing. She said she’d love to have all those types of memories together with my perspective.
I’m excited about both these projects but just need to START.

I am still working on making words out of leftover sheets of alphabet stickers.
Transferring, copying, etc.... what was in my neat, organized, symmetrical, printed scrapbook style journal.......into my messy, handwritten, not perfect scrapbook-mixed media style journal.
Organizing photos, uploading what needs to be printed.

April is a busy month with many photo opportunities. I have a 2 day crop, a day crop, and a 3 day convention/crop. I got hit with a HUGE tax debt which may impact my spending at convention.
My plan is to work on my new granddaughter who is almost 3 months. I can't bear not having more than a few of her photos scrapped. Did I learn anything from DGD1 to take fewer photos? No, no I did not.
Here I will make a goal of scrapping her first month and her baby shower. With a total of 6 scrap days I am very hopeful. Of course I have to gather all the baby girl product I have and get it into some kind of organization in order to be productive.
I haven't scrapped last year's Easter or DS1's birthday which both occur again over the next 2 weeks. Part of me feels I must get those scrapped, so possibly I will take a few Easter photos and supplies along in case I get tired off baby photos, sad as that sounds. Sometimes I like to switch up.

Maybe I'll participate because if it doesn't work out...... April Fool's!!!
I have been working on my SVG cutting files. Setting them up so I have an image that is easy to preview. I don't have any fancy photo editing programs. I'm going to play around with what I have and look into making my own PL filler cards. I found a way to convert png images to jpg images. I do want to learn Canva eventually too.
As always, I am behind on ordering monthly photos. I'd like to get at least one order in this month. It will probably be for August 2021. I should be getting some birthday money, so I will have fun making decisions on new product purchases. As long as I've been scrapping, I am extremely picky because of what I do own. I don't count photos, because that's boring.
I just need to carve some time during the day and actually do something. I've been on an audiobook binge, staying up way too late, and taking a nap when my son goes to school.

I want to make sure I keep up with the BOBW kit I made, and scrap along with Ms. S.
I want to participate in the color class I bought.
Take lots of pics in April. I took exactly 8 (!!!) photos in March. That is pretty bad for a scrapbooker.

I have some annual leave from work planned this month, and although my primary goal with that break is to get the outside of the house painted, I'm also hoping to have some time for scrapping.
My goals:
* print March photos * make at least 8 pages * get some more of my 2011 vacation photos ready to send out for printing

I have one more stinkin' page left of my Florida Fall Break album so I'll wrap that up this month. I was really hoping we'd make some fun memories over Spring Break to scrap next month but I got sick Friday, it was cold and snowy this weekend (!), is supposed to rain almost every day next week, and then my kids will be with their dad next weekend. Sigh. This month my primary focus is going to (hopefully) be getting some love/spark/mojo back for scrapping. I've been doing this without a break since 2003 so I can't imagine not doing it... but at the same time, I'm bored with how & what I scrap. I'm shaking things up with the way I do PL this year, which is helping, but I also want to explore mixing & matching supplies (which is the biggest drawback for me to digital scrapping as I can't just lay them all out in front of me and see what goes together) and making my own kits a la Shimelle's BOBW + focusing on creating more "everyday"/moment scrapping (which is my fave) vs. event scrapping. I don't use Ali supplies but I like the broad themes of her kits and am thinking of making a list of her recent themes and then brainstorming ways to scrap about/around those themes that speak to me. If there's time, I'd like to start helping my BF go through his photo collection which, as far as I know, is all stored on the cloud but otherwise not organized or sorted and rife with duplicates, blurry shots, etc. Knowing him, there are likely dozens upon dozens of the same or nearly the same landscape photo that could be deleted. I'd also like to begin helping him get down the stories that go with the photos but I don't know if that will mean actually scrapping them or just jotting down some notes and then having those years printed as Shutterfly photo albums with some captions here & there.

I was just thinking I need to do some organising of cut files- do you mind sharing what you're doing? I will share, but I am tech challenged. If another pea reads my response and has a better idea, feel free to chime in. I don't have a photo editing program.
For example, I have an SVG file named Birthday Balloons.
It seems like when you get SVG's, a lot of times a PNG image is included as well. What I do is convert the PNG image to JPG, download the new JPG and save it to the Birthday Balloons folder.
I create a new folder in the Birthday Balloons folder, and put everything in there, BUT the new JPG image. So when you want to view what is in the Birthday Balloons folder, you select view and Extra Large. Then you will see the JPG image that's a preview of your SVG cut. I hope that makes sense!
I've had issues with not having a clear image of what's inside when it's a PNG image and not a JPEG when I want a quick preview.
I have a PC laptop, if that matters.

Well I just finished 2020 for ds' pocket page album. 14 pocket pages total. I think this is one of the shortest scrapped years to date. I can't remember if 2021 has the same amount or not. For 2022, there are 10 things I have scrapped/need to scrap. So glad to be able to go out and do things again with my family/kids.

I want to order March pics. Though, for a month with multiple birthdays, and several events, I have just sixty some photos, many not getting printed.
I want to work on my high schooler's senior year layouts.
I really just want to make time to scrapbook.

My friend and I have been getting together about every other weekend to scrap at her house, so that has helped me have some momentum with getting things done. I hadn't really thought of specific goals for this month, but I think one goal needs to make progress on finishing pages. Last weekend I organized my "finished" pages that aren't in albums (I also need more albums) and too many of them need journaling or other finishing touches. I just need to sit down with them and get them done.

Well my crop this weekend was cancelled for lack of participation. This is the second month. Another crop for NSD is cost prohibitive for me $50 and no meals for a day crop.
Thank goodness I get 3 days of scrapping at Expo at the end of the month.
