The new kits are out today. My thoughts:
Live Simply: I like the yellow. It has a lot of flowers, though, and I buy NJFB to get away from that. I love 49 & Market ephemera, though. I passed on this one but it is pretty.
Latte Love: I love the theme but I don't like the colors. I think they had to match the stickers and it just doesn't make me think of coffee. I wanted to like this one but I passed.
Tender Moments: I'm a sucker for anything forest. The animals are cute, the papers are nice, and I like the exclusive embellishments. I bought this one.
Seriously?: I love the colors and that this one is definitely boy themed. I love the Srsly?! cardstock cut. I bought this one, too.
I missed last month so...
Fire Station 31: I loved this kit but I don't have anything to scrap with it. Very cool papers. I like the theme.
These Moments: Back to flowers again. I do appreciate the absence of pink and again, I love 49 & Market ephemera. I just have a ton of stuff with flowers so don't need it.
Relax and Read: This is also a good theme and I love the colors. The cardstock cut is also good. I like the book charms and the flat back pearls. I might go back and get this.
Hippity Hoppity: This is really cute- love the colors. I already bought some paper in this line, though, so didn't need it.
Overall:
I'm so glad that they are back to giving you more sheets of patterned paper. I bought one of their kits before not realizing it only had 2 sheets of patterned paper and I felt the price was pretty steep for what I got. Four sheets is a lot more versatile if you aren't following their directions.
Two of their new kits don't have cardstock cuts and I love their cardstock cuts. I wish each kit had one.
There seems to be a lot of fussy cutting in their kits. I think that is because they rely on Mintay and the more European style papers. Sometimes I like that and sometimes I'm too lazy for it.
I miss their premium kits- I loved the amount of product and their exclusive embellishments are wonderful.
I have been really pleased with the last two months releases. For awhile there I thought they had lost their way but I'm back to buying stuff from them. I love that they exist, I'm so sad there aren't a lot of other kit clubs left, and I really try to buy from them every month because I want to keep them in business. Please check them out and buy something.
