There is so much inspiration in the gallery! Please, if you don't visit the gallery often, click that gallery link above and take a peek - the Peas be scrappin! Today, I chose a layout by scrappyrabbit , which does my heart all sorts of good and joyous things: Happy birthday by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr Now, bear in mind, scrappyrabbit says she's a "simple scrapper" What inspiration did I find? What challenges can you use this week in your own designs? 1. on a card or layout, use strips of pp through your focal element. Pulls the eye right through your main point, and lets you use those wonderful pps 2. a totally BLINGED OUT and popped up title or sentiment. Make it your shining star! 3. a frame around the whole page, or mat your card panel. Always steps it up a notch! 4. Balloons and cupcakes - because they make everyone happy! Use either on your project 5. Place your photo, photo block, or sentiment in the middle (I think we did this last week too, but it's a good design idea!) 6. Scrap a photo of food, or use a piece of food on your card (like fruit, or cake, or chocolate!) We're starting a new quarter for the teams. If you are counting points, take 10 points for completing 2 of the above challenges on your proejct.

I often frame my pages by cutting out the center and then using that for matting. This page has the frame and the balloons from the inspiration page. It has her little cake in one photo

Congrats, scrappyrabbit for being chosen for POTW! Love your happy birthday LO. The colours, the balloons, that !!! Gotta be lots to inspire us there. myboysnme, are you sure that munchkin is THREE already? Such sweet giggly photos! Great, happy page! Did you use liquid glue to give those top balloons the realistic look? Another idea for lifting...

Thank you all for the lovely comments and kitbop for choosing my layout! The papers are from a 6x8 pad and matching embellishments (it was a MME kit from TM). The title is a Jolee’s sticker but marched perfectly! myboysnme great birthday layout! The colors and balloons are spot on. Such a sweet page and birthday girl!

So I wanted to use the strips of pp, but my page was so busy already, I switched to the "tabs" and doilies. Food theme, border around my page, centralized my photos, and while I didn't bling up my title I made it multi colour and popped it up using foam adhesive. layout get out while the getting is good by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Well, I got the centre placement of the photos and the blinged out title, I think, on the left page. Go Bengals by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Thanks again scrappyrabbit, for the inspiration.

There was so much on scrappyrabbit 's page to get inspiration from, so I ended up using all of your prompts kitbop ! Except I used paint instead of paper strips. (The paint was actually part of the template, I only had to re-colour them.) I used a cardboard alpha set by Paula Kesselring, and 'covered' it with paper from the kit. The 'D' is the only one I left as is. It took me ages! Thanks for a great challenge.

Wow I bow down to you! This is so great! And the embellishments even look so much like mine. That is so so cool! I love how you used painterly strips instead of paper strips as well.

What a great LO scrappyrabbit and everyone else who was inspired! I really like your suggestion of 6x6 pads msliz, as I have lots and it would be a great use for them. I will give it a go!
