It is now impossible--again--to add an attachment to a message on 2Peas. A message pops up that we have exceeded our space on ProBoards.
Space is NOT an issue if you are linking photos or other info from different sites like Flickr or Facebook or Tapatalk which has its own storage. What comes here from there is just the link, not the whole file. Space IS an issue for photos or other material you link from your computers or sources that do not have their own storage space. These show up in your messages as attachments.
You can help free up space if you will do the following:
Click on Search at the top of the board. Under WHAT to search, type in ATTACHMENT. Under WHO to search, type in your pea name. Then hit Search.
When your posts come up, go into the first one with an attachment that you no longer need. Click Edit. Click Edit Attachments. Choose Delete. Then click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the window.
Continue with your other posts, until you have removed your attachments.

Okay off topic but not...when I searched my name all of my Kitchenaid attachment posts came up. LOL. No photos. I use postimage. Those are stored by that site right?

Ok I went through and removed mine. I was surprised at how many I had. It’s worth searching your username to see. I didn’t think I'd have more than a couple. I had quite a few. Maybe not enough to make a big dent, but hopefully it helps.

I don't think I've ever attached anything, but I looked anyway. I hope whoever is hogging all the space reads this

I had two attachments dating back several years so I've deleted them, and posting so the thread will be bumped up and others can also check.

I checked and am not seeing any...pretty sure I went and deleted all of mine last year when someone raised the "out of space" alert.
Either that or I'm searching incorrectly. But, I looked using Attachment and then checked by my name for both threads and posts.

I was surprised to find a few photos from 2018 and earlier. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for taking the time to check and to remove the old attachments. Hopefully, as we have cleared the excess and as more people use hosting sites this won't be such a problem in the future.
