OK, I used to stamp a lot but really haven't in like 20 years.
I bought an Ali Edwards alphabet stamp because I want to start adding to my scrapbooking layouts.
I have not really used acrylic stamps before as back in the day, my stamps were rubber.
I have acrylic blocks that I bought ages ago just as they were coming out.
My ink stained the letters but I've seen stamping demos and that seems common.
But how should I clean these? Do I need to worry about harming them?
I used some seventh generation sanitizer wipes and those seemed to work the best. Then I rinsed them off with cold water and dried them off.
I remember I used to have some sort of fuzzy pad that I kept in a baby wipes container. I would spray the stamps with simple green then rub them against the pad, rinse, and let them dry.
What do I need to do to not ruin these? Or can I just use wipes and be done with it? I don't have a lot of space.
Thanks!

Some inks will stain clear stamps. It’s totally fine and does not harm them. I use Costco baby wipes to clean mine. If it’s a detailed stamp I may use my ancient Stampin up scrubber pad and their cleaner.
I don’t use them but a lot of people use a damp shammy to clean stamps too. Google Gina K tidy towel.

I just wipe mine with a stamp shammy. Lawn Fawn and Gina K both sell them. I know some folks buy an Absorber shammy and cut it down. I don't worry if my stamp is stained.
I will say the Lawn Fawn shammy is better than Gina's. My Gina one is starting to get threadbare spots and it's much newer. I did like it because it was black vs. the Lawn Fawn teal and I was hoping the black would hide the ink stains. Not that the stains affect how it works...it's just visually nicer looking.

I much prefer the LF shammy. The Gina K one started shredding and leaving fuzzies on the stamp being cleaned.

I use a stamp shammy, but I used to use baby wipes. I had the fuzzy cleaning pad, too, but I far prefer stamp shammy.
