I’m working on planning/creating a 6x8 album for my DD’s BFF of their first year of college and I’ll make a similar one for my DD. I’m struggling when I search on insta to find posts tagged as college layouts so it’s hard to find good ideas from the usually scrappy creators. Any suggestions? I can find all kinds of school and kid stuff but college is hard.
thx

college is tough because there aren't always photos the way there are in high school and younger - as parents, we usually drop them off at move-in and it's often the last photos we get until they come home for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I was lucky because my college kid sent me pictures...now...that weren't necessarily the sort of pictures I would have taken but they usually had a story attached of some sort and I did scrap them all but other than the first day of semester photos, they weren't really college-specific, more adulting success, failures, and frustrations.
Now - perhaps you have kids who'll go to football games and join clubs/soriorities etc...and you'll get more college specific pics - in which case I would probably just do basic layouts in their college colours - perhaps embellished with the mascot?
sorry - not much help, I'm afraid

Even if your dd isn’t in a sorority, you might search for “sorority scrapbook” on Pinterest, YT, and other social media to see what comes up. There might be some ideas you can use. Last year for Mother’s Day I asked both of my college aged kids for photos of them from their high school and college years that were taken by friends, etc. It was one of the best gifts I’ve gotten so far.

Great idea on sorority. She is in one. I am lucky because she loves my scrapbooking and we have a shared iPhotos album she dumps pictures in so I have a lot to work with, just thought it would be good to get some inspiration. I did come up with a plan last night and I’ll post an update when it’s done - which will need to be by Easter so she can take it back with her!! Thx
