Just curious - I rarely posted on NSBR but did participate on those threads and enjoyed seeing everyone's projects.

I rarely posted on the old Two Peas site either, but I'd been a Two Peas lurker since practically the start of the boards.
I knit, but generally only socks and fingerless mitts. I crochet everything else. I'm co-owner of Crochetville, a big online site with blog, social community message board site, and a separate active Facebook page. Links in my signature below.

I'm a member there too (although don't participate much). I love Darski's doll patterns!

Yes, I'm a knitter - I'm working on some self-striping socks. I've never used self-striping yarn before and it's so fun to watch the stripes evolve!

Knitting replaced scrapbooking for me. I have tons of projects on the needles, but started a lace shawl last night. Because why finish anything when I still have needles that are empty?!? Lol!

I'm love to crochet. I always lurked on those posts on 2peas but never participated. I'm in the process of making what I'm calling the ugly blanket project. Just scraps of yarn from other projects.

I knit and am working on doing hats and fingerless gloves for a charity at the moment. I would love to be able to crochet and make one of those gorgeous blankets several people here are making......but I just don't seem to be able to master it properly at all no matter how many 'How To's' I watch!! I can knit almost anything but crochet is beating me every time at the moment! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I am hoping the penny will suddenly drop and I will 'get it', then I can start the blanket......I've certainly got enough yarn for one (or three LOL) in my stash!

So many projects. So little time.
Worked last night knitting on a shawl that was part of a mystery knit-a-long. The knit-a-long is long over but I am still plodding along. Of course, last night my needles came apart right in the middle of the row. So now I have to figure things out.
I am also crocheting a granny square blanket but it's on hold until I can find some mustard yellow yarn. I had no idea that it would be so hard to find yellow yarn.

I knit and crochet but the summer is crazy busy at work, so I tend to do both in the winter.

I love crocheting! I haven't had the time or inclination to make any "real" projects lately, but I crochet pet mats for the local no-kill shelter. It doesn't take much thought, and I find crocheting to be a stress reliever.

Here's my weekend project, using Red Heart's Unforgettable in the new color Sunrise. I'll be wearing it in the Crochetville/Red Heart booth at the Crochet Guild of America's conference / Knit and Crochet Show in Manchester, NH at the end of this month. ![](https://scontent-b-atl.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/t31.0-8/s960x960/10494515_10152360288379425_4240000541486569885_o.jpg)

I do both, but vastly prefer knitting for most things. I spend 95% of my internet time between here and Ravelry. Message really suck you in to their time void, don't they!
Currently knitting a baby's cardigan, and have a shawl I want to block this weekend.

I knit. I'm finishing up a hat for an alpaca farm and will focus on this cowl I started last week. Then make another hat and matching gloves for the farm. And so many more projects waiting to be started.

I recently started knitting again after I joined KnitCrate. They send you a monthly project with the yarn and a couple of goodies. So far all the projects have been great and the yarns are beautiful.
Now maybe I can get started on my stash of my own yarn projects.

I do both, but have been sewing a lot more these days. Knit and crochet have been making my arm, elbow, and hands hurt if I do them too much lately. Recently I've discovered a love of crochet cotton, tiny hooks and doilies.

I love to crochet, it's very relaxing. But, I'm the worlds slowest.
Plus, I find that I seem to collect yarn and patterns, but never even start them. Hmmm alot like my huge scrapbook stash.

Amys, love the colors of that Unforgetable yarn. One of my grand daughters loves orange. I'm going to have to pick up a skein of it to do something for her.
I watched a you tube video on continental knitting today. I'm going to give it a try. I've always been a thrower.
What style do all you knitters here use?

I'm a left-handed crocheter. When I learned to knit, I decided to learn the way right handers do, since I was going to be using two hands what seemed to be fairly equally anyway. I knit continental.

I knit and crochet. I'm slowly working on a Dobby doll, the house elf from Harry Potter in crochet. I have a sneaking suspicion that if I finish it by the end of August, my oldest daughter will be lifting it and taking it with her to college. She's been eyeing it for some time, wondering when I'll pick it up again. I should have used smaller needles because it is way too big. It is seriously going to be bigger than the actual Dobby in the movie. I suppose I could post a pic when I'm done, but nobody hold their breath, 'kay? It's coming up on a year since I started it. Just returned to it after many months.
