I loved those little chalk inks so much. They dried so fast and were a great size. What do you use for inking now? Well, I've gone through a couple phases. First, I really like VersaMagic Jumbo Java chalk ink. www.franticstamper.com/Tsukineko-Versamagic-Dew-Drop--Jumbo-Java_p_47226.html It's by Tsukineko, and I haven't been able to find it locally lately, although it used to be in a 4 pack from M's or JA. I do use the Tsukineko Brilliance Jumbo Java pigment ink though. JA still has that. I also have been doing (as Shimelle does) use Distress Dye ink in Walnut Stain with a foam dauber, but now I have kind of switched to using VersaFine Clair in Pinecone with a dauber. Walnut Stain is too dark for me - I’ve always used Vintage Photo (until Chestnut Roan came along, and sometimes Creamy Brown (thanks to Allison Davis), but now it’s back to Vintage Photo).

Thanks for sharing those confetti dies! I will admit, I thought the one with Merry said “Hahaha” then realized it’s supposed to be “Hohoho”!

I got a little bit of anxiety reading this. I'm doing my best to keep it contained to certain spaces and I don't allow overflow.

I’m SO much happier with my scrappy life since I don’t worry about storing them, what size to keep, etc. Scraps lay next to my trimmer where I cut them off and then get tossed in the bin after a few days of laying there. Sometimes I use them, sometimes I don’t. They all end up in the bin in the end. 😂

Obviously, I'm a scrap keeper.

The only size I keep is what can fit back into the 12x12 paper storage (I use the plastic upright storage from cropper hopper back in the day)without it getting lost. 4x12 is probably the smallest I keep. When I cut down a 6x6 to make a photo mat, I toss the leftover piece. I like to trim my photos to 5.5x4 and the mat to 6x4.5.

...What do you use for inking now? Like kmage, I also use VersaFine Clair - usually in Morning Mist (charcoal) & occasionally Pinecone (dark chocolate), Twilight (navy), or Nocturne (black) - to ink edges. Ooh, I didn't know VersaMagic had chalk inks! Thanks! For clarity, VersaMagic is pigment chalk ink. Other Tsukineko brands include VersaFine Clair, VersaFine, VersaColor, VersaMark, Brillance, Memento, StazOn, etc.

I used to be a stamper! Now the most I can muster is a stamped sentiment on the inside of a card. And even then it's like pulling teeth for me. I am a reluctant card maker (after many years of not identifying as a card maker anymore). My card making style now is very different than when I used stamps.
