I have reclaimed my Raskog cart from the kid.
I am going to put my most used scrap supplies in it. I have a separate space for paper and journal cards.
So I'm thinking the top level will be alphabet stickers and stamps since they need to be upright.
I'll also put most used tools and supplies in there like scissors, tape, glue stick, hole punch.
Please post pictures of how you organize the rest.
I need to get my embellishments organized so that I will be able to see everything and use everything.
I've searched the past posts but there's nothing recent. Also a couple of links to good dollar tree stuff are broken. I will go there later today.
I know I will need some sort of taller box/bin/tray to store the alphas so that they don't fall over. And something one step smaller for stamps. So please post links. Preferably Target as the only craft store near us is Michaels and they are empty.
Thank you!!!

I don't use those carts for scrapbooking but do have 1 of 4 in the house used for dd's IgG supplies. I know not craft, but the containers are awesome AND I use one of the extras for my alpha stickers. I will post a photo. I have 2 stacked (they stack nicely) on the middle and bottom shelves of her cart.

I just had to cut the top label off my letter stickers for them to fit.

Iris containers would work well too for embellishments. I use those inside my 12x12 iris containers.

Not sure how much this will help since I have different crafty needs and a tiny stash but maybe it will spark some ideas. Cart organization by jo.blackford, on Flickr I have an open envelope box (more explanation below) and a random bin (from a big box store, I just chose one the size that would fit in my cart) holding stamps and dies upright in the top of my cart. The second tier I needed a place to slide my trimmer away so I installed the shelf upside down and added a smooth shelf (a piece of chipboard covered in vinyl self-stick wallpaper, which is also a photo backdrop). The heat guns are in an envelope box lid lined with aluminum foil for embossing. I removed one tier of shelving (this is a 4 level Cost-kog cart) so I would have space to store more stuff upright. The lowest level I have 2 binders full of stencils and die cuts (stored in pocket page protectors) and magazine holders holding plastic envelopes that sort my paper collections and cardstock colors. I ordered these magazine holders and envelopes from Totally Tiffany because they're local to me and would hold my tiny stash. I use magnetic hooks to hold most used rectangle dies on one side and magnetic spice jar organizers for paper clips and hearts and sequins. Small stuff organization by jo.blackford, on Flickr I use these little plastic cases for holding random small bits - enamel dots, small letter stickers, some die cuts and cut-aparts. The cases I got come in a bigger organizer box which I use in other parts of the house to hold cords and things. I also have some of the little plastic pouches for cut-aparts and small collections. I think I ordered them from amazon but I've seen them in crafty stores too. I use the boxes that my envelopes come in for a lot of organizing. They're basically like shoeboxes but are perfect for storing card supplies so too good to waste. One holds stamps on the top shelf of my cart, but I have them in drawers and on shelves. Not sure if you have a box stash to pull from. We're terrible box hoarders Hope that sparks some ideas for you.

lol, the banner ad at the top of this page after I posted this had the exact storage boxes I mentioned! I didn't see where they were selling them before I clicked the back button but maybe they'll show you the same ad ETA: nope, never mind. It was the Container Store showing me the Iris card keeper storage box I searched last weekend on another Pea's rec.

It had a weird smell and oily film at first but I washed it (needed to anyways as it was for dd's IgG cart).
I use small bathroom trash bags.

I have a floor trash can, but.....I'm thinking you could drill some holes into a Dollar Tree white trash can, and hook it on to the cart with some s hooks you could probably find at the Home Depot in the closet or hardware sections. Just another option.

I use magnetic hooks to hold most used rectangle dies on one side and magnetic spice jar organizers for paper clips and hearts and sequins. I like the idea of the magnetic stuff. I'm going to live with this for a few weeks then see what I need to add. I bought an organizer tray that is 6.5" tall and has three sections that get smaller toward the front. I'll use that for my alpha stickers. And I had some clear containers that I'm starting to fill as well. Just waiting for stuff to arrive!

I've changed mine around at least 3 or 4 times as my supplies have changed and I realized what I need (and when I got a desk with drawers!)

Thanks for posting! I have been looking for inspiration as well. My main issue is that to date I have done most of my scrapping outside of the home, mostly at my friends house. However, I have started to do some at home now as well. I want my organization to work at home but also make it easy to grab and go (I also just leave stuff at her house if we are going to meet up again the following weekend, or if I don't think I will have time to do anything in between our sessions together).

I just saw these on scrapbook.com for the carts and made me think they'd be great for DD if that's how you sorted your DD supplies. I'm not sure of the quality (and don't love the brown, maybe they could be painted) but might be useful: www.scrapbook.com/store/ac-60000560.html?nocs=1&t12-13=we+r+memory+keepers&date=20220418They had a couple of different options on the site. No sizes yet but scrapbook.com said they'll be adding more information once they have the product in hand.

I wish they sold the hooks separately as those will be very useful. I think I will get the one with 12 spaces for my bottom tray. I'm going to organize all the little bits with those small rectangle containers they have at Dollar Tree 2/$1.00. Then with this divider I can store them on end and label them. When I take one out, they won't all fall over. And if this is thick cardstock like their little journal card bin, I could cut a "leg" off and have a bigger compartment if I need it. They also have some expandable dividers that might be nice. I'm not going to order anything yet but this is great. Thanks!

You can make the compartment whatever size you need. You do need a pair of heavy duty snips to cut them though since it’s rigid plastic.

I've used those, and the 4" tall ones (purchased at the Container Store for a lot more $$ - tears) for years in drawers. They work great! I don't need scissors to cut them, I just bend back and forth twice and they break apart easily for me.

FYI, I was able to find the hooks on Amazon for less than $10. I forget how many are in the pack but I like how they sit flat where a rounded hook will move around and possibly scratch up the cart.
I have a stadium organizer thing on the way. It's the same one that SSS sells. Clear acrylic. That's for alphas.
So it's coming together. I'm not going to buy anything else until I see how all this works and I use it for a while. That way I won't waste money.
