I don’t scrap chronologically, but I pretty much keep my albums in chronological order. Same but I'd say my albums are loosely in chronological order. I also have several "theme" albums (Scouts, School, Vacations, Christmas) and those tend to be in chronological order. I use D-ring albums so I can easily move pages as needed.

For my everyday albums they are formatted by a monthly PL spread with any layouts form that month behind. I scrap my PL chronologically for the most part (although I am a bit behind, so I might soon be jumping back and forth between last year and this year), and then I do the layouts as I feel inspired/have time and slot them in where they belong. Any larger projects like travel albums get worked on here and there and then organized chronologically. That said, my most successful travel scrapping was one where I printed the photos, organized them chronologically and then worked that way. Everything was super organized and it flowed beautifully. My latest travel album is all over the place because I was doing pages here and there for a design team and everything got disrupted. Some photos got printed, others did not. One of my tasks is to print all my journaling, and then organize my photos so I know what I have left that needs to be done. teacherlisa, I love the idea of Library of Memories and heard Stacey Julian speak about it once. It was incredibly inspiring and I would very much like to get going on some layouts like this. I have the start of a "People I Love" album, and really want to make some special layouts for it.

I do not scrapbook in chronological order and I never really have, the only album where I do is Project life.
When I first started scrapbooking I would put them into chronological order but that was back in the days when we only had post bound albums and rearranging my layouts and albums got tiring real quick.
These days I have set albums and I just put the pages in as I am done making them. I make layouts from all over the place, some might be from when the kids were babies, the next will be from a camping trip we took three years ago and then I will do a page from a photo I just took. I had to come to that place where I was happy to just chuck them in an album in no particular order and move on, having them in set albums did help me overcome that concern.

Yes- although I do not scrap chronologically, the pages in my albums are in Chronological order. Once I have a significant number of pages for a year, I create an album for that year, leaving gaps where I know I will be adding additional pages. I have a 3 ring binder for pages that I have not created an album yet for that year.

-ish.
I have a number of older photos from when I was in my 20s that I’m not exactly sure when they were taken. I still scrapbook them and put them in as best as I can.
I don’t scrapbook chronologically so I’m forever moving pages around. 🤣

Kids and family albums - yes Photos of me as I grew up - no. I’ve recently made the decision to scrap and create with these with a random/ story based approach rather than chronologically and I’m LOVING it! Have also done a couple of the “pieces” notebooks from AE recently, they’ve been a great place to house some of the more random but still super favourite photos with a great story attached as well.
