I LOVE looking at my albums! I often do it when I feel like I'm in a rut or don't have the energy/motivation to scrap, too, because it gets me SO STOKED to work on them again!

My son goes through them all the time (more than anyone else in the family) and then quotes them verbatim back to me, or says things like “remember in November 2016 when I did this and this” and I sit there thinking…. Maybe?!? 😂

All my albums are in a Kallax 5 x 5 so they are easily accessed.
The three grandies love to look through “their story” books and ask questions about different pages as we go. I am so glad to have these memories especially the first photos that they obviously don’t remember.

I look at them all of the time.
I love scrapbooking. I love planning the photos I'm taking, shopping for supplies, looking at the photos, making the pages, and then looking at them over and over. I love everything about this hobby.

I typically don't, but the one time I did (maybe 1-2 years ago), I really enjoyed it. I think doing it helps remind me WHY I scrapbook, since I only do it for me.

Every few months I’ll pull a couple albums out to look at to reminisce.
My DD’s childhood albums were quite thick and well journaled. The girls used to ask to look at “the heavies” and loved when I read the stories of the pictures to them.

Yes, I look back every so often. I will sometimes pull one out if the kids ask about something or spark a memory but I don't remember all the details. I generally look over a couple previous Countdown to Christmas albums when December rolls around each year. My kids don't look at them on their own but if I am looking at one, they will get sucked in and then want to look at the rest of the album.
I'm a digital scrapper so my albums are all 8x8 softcovers from Shutterfly and fit on one shelf in the living room.

Yes, it's how I remember where I've been.
