I'm thinking I want a wireless sticker printer -- portable, wireless - prints 2x3 photos from my phone on to sticker backed photo paper. I'm looking at the HP Sprocket device -- HP has always worked well with my other Mac devices -- I have an older iPad and an iPhone 12 that I would expect to be using - probably mostly my phone. I'm thinking of little sticker photos for a traveler's notebook for National Parks sorts of things Does anyone have experience with one of these little devices -- recommendations, warnings, empowerment -- ?

If you are looking for another option, I buy wide double side tape on Amazon. I put it on the back of cardstock that has printed elements. I also put it on the back of paper, put a metal die on top, run through a machine, and get an easy to adhere "sticker". It's great for intricate dies.

Thanks - but I was looking specifically at the photo printing part. The sticker back part will be just a perk for what I have in mind -- that is: a touch of scrapbooking as we travel. It started as a place to put the visitors' centers stamps but has morphed from there.

I have a Sprocket and I like it a lot, but I will note that the colors do not print out exactly the same way they look on your phone. If you're okay with that, then it's awesome to bring on trips! I actually brought mine when I went away last month and used it to work on a travel journal while I was away. I have a small case to keep it protected, it doesn't take up much room in my bag, and it was so handy to immediately print out what I wanted to include in my book while they were fresh in my head.

Thanks kiera -- another person has mentioned something along those lines - less detail than she expected. Do you have an "app with that" that can be adjusted to compensate or change the print out? I've ordered it -- I'll check it out when it arrives.

I think it would take some trial and error, but I like PicTapGo for photo editing! The app you'll use to print from the Sprocket has some tools too. I also use the Project Life app to put two photos together if I want to print out two smaller pictures on one sheet.

I use the PL app to put the two photos together, save that as one image, and then print that image from the Sprocket. The two apps aren't used together, PL just makes it so that I can print two photos on one sheet.

kiera Thank you for that information. I'll try to get it figured out because, for my purposes, that might be a fun option! Edit: Okay - I just found the Project Life app on my phone - updated it. I have never used it. Can someone direct me to instructions or a manual? There doesn't seem to be anything on the app.
Found the button and found Project Life tutorial videos on YouTube. Sorry - my search skills are rusty, I guess!

Do you use this in lieu of the Sizzix Adhesive Sheets? I'm assuming the double-sided tape would be more economical?

I used the Xyron X for several years and now refills are impossible to find or they are really pricey. I haven't used Sizzix adhesive sheets. This is the tape I use, but it is VERY sticky. It's not good if you might need to reposition something. It will not budge.

Alternatively, Scrapbook.com has a double sided adhesive that also comes in a variety of widths.

I received my Sprocket printer. I got it set up -- it needed to be powered up so there was a short delay in getting the first print. I followed the - very limited - instructions -- there was a mistake. The set up said blue card with the "code" DOWN and HP logo UP -- which means I had to switch the photo paper around. Well - that was a mistake. The photo paper stack goes into the Sprocket just like it comes out of the package. The Color seems acceptable - facial tones aren't too far from the camera picture. I also printed a 4 picture collage - the #1 photo is mis-placed but that might be due to my "edit". Anyway - it is fun at this point and will work, I think, for the purpose intended - that is a wireless travel photo printer.
Thanks everyone for your input!
