ETA: All claimed now, I think! Has anyone ever wished they didn't get rid of their old Chatterbox/EK Success Journaling Genies? I just inherited these. They'll fit in a letter sized envelope so if someone will use them I will send them to you for free (US only, sorry). 1. Basic, 2. shapes, 5. Christmas and a random lettering stencil if you want it. Otherwise I'll donate these. Hopefully this IG picture will post: http://instagr.am/p/Cc0t79Xv5dm

joblackford We should start a scrap wiki or something. I feel like all these products deserve to have their pictures and release/height of the trend year(s) recorded. I keep discovering scrappy stuff I've never heard of before and wish I there'd be a place I could click on a year and see which products, techniques, brands were big then.

I wish everything had a year of release on it! I think the bag of stuff I inherited was from someone scrapping in the 2006-8 time frame (there was a baby kit that had dates) but sometimes older stuff seems so dated I'm surprised when it's from the 90s instead of the 80s like I thought. I hope some people drop their reminiscences here even if they don't want them

There’s a blast from the past! I never did use them as much I had intended. I used to love fussy cutting alphas, I found it very relaxing!

So funny you would post this. I found this 2 days ago and have put it in an awkward place to "address what to do with this thing"... Untitled by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Cool find.
My mom asked me if I still scrapbooked as someone she knew donated her a box of scrapbook stuff. My mom doesn't scrapbook so I got all of it. I thought there might be something good in there. Nope, it's mostly 2008ish K and Co stuff like Smashbook pads, multiple of the same 12 by 12 "speciality" paper with shapes cut out of it, flimsy thin scrapbook paper with basketballs and balloonson it, and stuff from the 75% off clearance rack at Tuesday Morning. Not one thing in there was awesome and it's sitting here while I try to decide if anyone else could possibly use any of it...

I claimed a bag of "scrapbooking cardstock" on Buy Nothing but it was mostly thin single sided dated papers from about that same era, a few kits, and some thin battered cardstock. I found a few good pieces that were sturdy enough not to be creased, a few papers I can use, one I already turned into a set of cards, but 90% is going straight to the thrift shop. Luckily we have one thrift shop with a decent crafting section so maybe they'll find a good home. If we didn't I would probably offer them to a school teacher or recycle them. I figured I'd offer these things to the Peas first since people here would actually know what they are!

Ha -- I had those and literally never once used them. They looked really useful, but I have terrible handwriting and type out everything.

So funny you posted this topic. Shockingly, I just found the one you have on the upper left in the photo stuck behind old Teresa Collins stencils in my stash last week. I truly thought I got rid of them and was so happy to find at least this one. Now if I could just find the one on the bottom left in your photo……… but I am sure that went in a stash sale.
