I've been stamping for years and pretty much stuck to the same inkpad companies for the entire time. Recently I noticed that there were a lot more brands out there then when I started stamping, and now I want to buy all of them all the time. As soon as I see someone with a video that involves any kind of inkpad I'm either buying it right away or restraining myself from buying immediately and buying the next day (after I've taken some time to **think** ). Especially blue inks. I don't know how many different shades of blue there are but I probably have all of them . SSS sells their inkpads in 3 pads from a color family and they just restocked the blue gradient I've been eyeing, which made me realize that I have a problem. Do you have a stamp supply addiction? What is it? Or am I the only one?

I have all the Distress Ink mini's, even the latest set 17 (Thank you SSS sale). I've accumulated almost all the GinaK, only 10 or so to go. Full set syndrome is my downfall.

You’re going to have to up your GinaK count. She just introduced 2 new colors, spruce and carnation and it’s 3 pads for each color, light, medium and dark. The spruce set is on my list. I need about 5 more of the distress oxides to complete my set. I have almost all the Altenew minis, the Concord & 9th set and I’m working on the Catherine Pooler inks. My current obsession are the PinkFresh stamp, die and layering stencil sets. I really like the versatility of being able to stamp and color with the stencils or just using the stencils.

The only thing that has stopped me is the fact that everyone else loves them too so some of my faves have consistently sold out. I did find the small butterflies set recently after WEEKS of stalking every shop I could think of.

Ahh, Pinkfresh. Everything Pinkfresh is my newest obsession. I've been a Gina K fan for years, I have all her ink minis and was starting with the full-size and then got pulled into the Pinkfresh vortex.
Because, you know, if I see a card with their inks, it's just not possible that I might already have a color that matches. I. Need. Theirs. So bit by bit, I've been buying those in full size. I think I have about half of them right now - some of them are hard to come by and sold out everywhere, but I have notifications set up on a couple of sites . . .
They even sucked me into their washi tape with the matching dies! (The dies also have matching stamps, some of them have foil plates and stencils, and I just must have all of it). Doesn't hurt that the owners don't seem to be trying to convince me that I'm their bestest friend ever, nor is their any of the preachy "kindness" malarkey. Just really pretty, well-designed things that all work together.

Inkpads and floral background stamps are the things that I just can't get enough of.

I didn't think I NEEDED the hot foil plate because thinking about foiled butterflies didn't appeal to me.....but upon further reflection I'm thinking I want it, I'm just trying to restrain myself.

Okay, I have it. If you would like, I'd be happy to foil some for you on white cardstock so you can play a bit. PM me and let me know - because I have accumulation issues, I have almost every color of foil imaginable. Then you could play around with it and decide if you need it. Not offering because I'm nice. But the more people that I can suck into my addiction, the less guilty I feel about it, because now there are so many others just like me . . .

I caved and bought a set of Ohuhu makers but I just can’t get the hang of shading with alcohol markers. I watched a GinaK video where she used colored pencils and gamsol so that is my go-to coloring method now.

I watched the same video the other day, and promptly purchased Gamsol (and spilled some on my work surface, sigh). Am still getting the hang, but have had good results with the Gamsol for coloring in stamps. I am 100x more comfortable with colored pencils (and have quite a colllection of prismacolor premiere) over markers and watercolors.

I started buying PinkFresh inks, too, and can't find Coral Reef in stock ever. That's the hardest one to get, I think.I haven't bought any of their blues yet but I really, really want them. Then I'm going to need the reinkers...
