FALL Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking event

Gina K class - Create three beautiful ink blended cards using several different ink blending techniques! From masking to stenciling, you will create simple, gorgeous cards that are easy to mass produce for a very happy holiday season!

Lawn Fawn class - Join Jenn Shurkus, Lawn Fawn Instructor, for a wicked fun class creating 3 whimsical cards. Using stamps, dies and more from Lawn Fawn, Jenn will go over some inspiring card techniques you’ll use over and over again. The cards will highlight the whimsical, fun style of Lawn Fawn. Whether you are new to Lawn Fawn or are a fan already, you are sure to be inspired!

Kristina Werner/Mama Elephant - Let’s make some get well cards! I call them card insurance… If you have some on hand, you won’t need them. But you’ll be grateful you have a few if you do. We will be making some creative get well cards to add to your stash using adorable images from Mama Elephant. We’ll do super simple watercolouring (you can do this, I promise!), and build a scene with the stamps.

Taylored Expressions - Join Taylor from Taylored Expressions for a twist on mass-production with our unique Triple Slim layering stencils. You’ll learn tips and tricks for aligning layering stencils, applying ink with blender brushes, and adding fun details and dimension to your stenciled designs with additional stamps and coordinating dies. You’ll be ‘falling’ in love with the latest design as the beautiful colours of autumn are upon us. I can’t wait to create with you!

Laura Bassen/Hero Arts - Join Laura Bassen to create three beautiful cards using exciting, new products by Hero Arts. Laura will create alongside you using her signature happy colour combinations and of course always a little dimension. Laura’s humour and storytelling will keep you entertained as you learn helpful tips and tricks along the way.

Cathy Z/Concord & 9th - Join Cathy Zielske as she walks you through creating clean and simple cards with exclusive products designed by Concord & 9th. Cathy will share her favourite cardmaking techniques along the way and remind you that simple cards do not have to be boring! Cathy’s easy pace and style will keep you inspired long after the class is over.

Spellbinders - Please join Kim Kesti from Spellbinders Paper Arts to create three stunning holiday cards featuring exclusive stamp and die sets. Pink & Main - Join Michelle Currie, owner of Pink and Main, to create three gorgeous cards featuring exciting new Pink and Main products to create celebration cards with flocking! Our new flock adds a soft fuzzy texture to your projects that you have to see and feel to believe! Once you use these soft fibres, you will want to add them to all of your creations.

If it's the one from The Greetery, me too!    I'm holding off on purchasing anything from them because it's their 3rd anniversary so I'm sort of expecting a sale in the near future. Betsy posted on Instagram that there was manufacturing delays and personal stuff that has delayed it but it's coming.  

Jenn Shurkus says “wicked fun” year round.  She lives in Cape Cod and it’s a NE thing. Of course she does lots of cute projects because of Lawn Fawn, but has a whole other side - or sides! - with Pink Fresh, Tim Holtz/Distress sprays, etc. 

Happy Kristina is watercoloring instead of coloring coloring. I don’t do scenes either but if it’s a fun card to make it can go in the donate pile. 

Flocking? My gut says no but maybe I’d be surprised.

Many of the sentiments in cards for the last two events could be swapped. I think “yippee” was in a couple of March cards and I’d never yippee on a card. 

I did wonder if that was the NE thing or if it was (also) a clue to the theme.



VictoriaMarie tried out some flocking in her last live and as soon as I saw the thumbnail I decided not to bother. It might be cool for some things but I just have no interest.

I took this last fall for the first time and really liked it! I was impressed with all the fun stuff in the box and had a good time doing all the classes. I figured out I could stop the videos while live and didn’t worry about catching up with everyone. I skip the lives after the class because I get tired of everyone saying “I loved it!!!!” And “this is sooooo fun!!!!” LOL I get that for some people the event is all about hanging out with the professionals but I’m just interested in techniques and products.

I had FOMO when I didn’t sign for the spring card class - I wanted to try the scrapbook one so I signed up, and we’re in the middle of that one right now!

One thing I did learn from the fall stamping event was to roughen up the brand new stamps before using them for the first time. Just rub them with your fingers or I would rub them on my jeans. It removes any manufacturing residue that might make the first images grainy. Also, Costco baby wipes are great for cleaning stamps, they leave no fiber residue.

I will sign up for the fall stamp event, and am glad to see so many Peas will be there!

I'm still trying to decide whether or not to register for the cardmaking class. I probably will because I hate missing out, and the Spellbinder's holiday cards class really appeals to me. There have been some styles and finished cards in past events that I wouldn't have necessarily made myself but I do know people that would like them so its actually nice to have a bit of a different style to give away.



I have looked at those sets so many times, wanting to buy them - but then I think about how much work each card would be. But I just love them. I wish The Greetery would do a class at C&C some day. I'd sign up for sure. That pussywillow die is gorgeous! I'm disappointed that The Stamp Market is not participating anymore but I think they've met their goals and are now transitioning to their own classes and kits. Same with PinkFresh.

I love Honey Bee's products - I would be very happy if their mini class involved one of their Lovely Layers floral die sets. I love those.

Pink and Main's cards were among my favourites from last month's C&C, I hope they do something pretty like that and not something cutesy.

MichyM Were you able to get signed up for the Fall event?

I signed up. I had a blast at last fall's card making event. I signed up for this past spring one and would have had just as much fun but we were in the process of buying a house. I have yet to complete any of the classes. I plan to do one or two a weekend once I get unpacked from moving!
