I mix and match a lot. Polka dots, stripes, checkered.

Linen print, it is like using a solid background so it is very versatile yet has a little bit of pattern to it to make it interesting. An example of it is on the Doodlebug ginghams in the Petite Prints line the B side is the Linen.

Most used: I think it would be woodgrain. Woodgrain can be used on any type of page (IMO). Second most used would probably be polka dots.
Favorite pattern: Chevron-I will love chevron until my dying breath! I also love a good floral and plaid.

Especially when I can cut them out and make straps for accent or cut it down further to make arrows.

I can't resist a polka dot. I prefer random dots over dots in rows. I also love wood grain, gingham, ledger, stripes, and florals.

Polka dot get me every time! Then stripes - especially rainbow stripes!
Large Florals that can be fussy cut, script or words, stars, hearts, and I love almost anything in fall colors also.
There's very little that I don't like!

The patterns that I can't resist are rainbows, watercolor and ombre-ish patterns, and stripes, especially rainbow stripes...
What I use most... no idea. Without going through my albums and counting smaller tone on tone patterns (hearts, stars, dots, dashed lines, grids) probably.

I need to look at what I actually use, but I’m drawn to bold stripes (and bold colors in general).

Another one as I grabbed it last night to use for dd's baseball pocket page - tiny triangles all over the paper. Kind of like dots but not. This one is red with white triangles. I also have white with black triangles and black with white triangles and even gray/white.

I buy a lot of florals and tone on tone small repeating patterns and love a good text print. I love using watercolour wash type patterns, they have enough interest to not be plain but I also feel like they don't overwhelm my photos.

I love swiss dot patterned cardstock. I feel it gives something rather than "plain" cardstock for matting photo's or making borders.

I love swiss dot- the BoBunny ones are to die for. I love plaid, especially buffalo plaid. I love foliage. Flowers are nice but a whole page of leaves, especially fern or palm? I can't resist.

Stripes. I just love stripes.
I also love pretty much any small scale prints with nice colors.

Diagonal plaids and stripes! I love just about any generic tone on to print. If it’s a shape, I want them randomly scattered if possible.

Tiny patterns. Nothing specific. Big patterns intimidate me.

Diagonal stripes, text prints, ledger/grid paper, and anything tone on tone with distressing--as in all of the Basic Grey solids and Vicki Boutin b-sides.

I think anything geometric, with a particular emphasis on stripes (any direction) and dots. I almost said flowers, but I just looked at the pile I'm sorting and I don't have as many in my floral bin as the geometric.

I love distressed looking paper. If it looks like it has been sanded, aged or water damaged I like that a whole lot, especially with vintage imagery. Think Asuka Studios.

I love distressed looking paper. If it looks like it has been sanded, aged or water damaged I like that a whole lot, especially with vintage imagery. Think Asuka Studios. I can really love a distressed looking paper but I can easily hate a distressed looking paper. It depends on if it’s distressed or dingy. Dingy is not my style. Sometimes the designer tries too hard for the distressed look and instead it just looks dirty or muted or just off.
