Well, I did it. I started packing my scrapbooking supplies for the move. OMG. It's taking a lot more boxes than I thought it would! Part of the problem is paper is so heavy.
I was planning to move all my scrapbooks myself, but it's starting to sound like a lot of work. I'm going to try packing some of them tomorrow and see how that goes. It might be worth it to have the movers get them out of my house and to the LL of my townhouse.
Happy May, dear Pea friends.

You sound so excited about your move! I'm so happy for you. I'm a small stash scrapper, though, and the idea of moving my things is daunting to me. You are a braver woman than I am. But I get that you are looking for your own space. On a whim last week I saw the thread about the 49th and Market Sherbet line and I ordered. Well it came and I'm overwhelmed. I clearly bought too much for my needs. I bought all three 6x8 paper packs and there are three sheets of each paper in there! I have no idea why they would put so many multiples in there. I would have been satisfied with just one of each paper! So if anyone is looking for these papers, I'd be happy to send them to you. The postage stamp washi is adorable. And the whole line is really very pretty. I stroked all my craft supplies yesterday willing my crafty mojo to return. Hopefully soon it will. Happy May!

Roses are red. April is grey. But today it's gonna be May.
I am looking forward to getting my hands on more No Limits paper by Cocoa Vanilla. Been a fun line to work with for both kids.
Ordered my photo paper for pick up and some more pocket page protectors.
I have to say I am getting excited for the new CP holiday releases. They have been my favorite for years. Hope they release a new Halloween line. Sad that they don't release more throughout the year.

I am currently getting ready to head home from a fabulous Scrapbook Expo. It was so good! I got very little actual scrapping done sadly and way too much shopping!
May looks to be another photo heavy month with Mother's Day, my 65th birthday and DILs 25th.
I think I have a few crops that hopefully won't be cancelled like the past 2 months. I alo see some possible organization of scrap stuff in my future as I search for my elusive Tim Holz Ice Skate sizzox die.

mikklynn - Albums are also heavy - if there are stairs involved, definitely get some help moving them. Good luck with the move jeremysgirl - ((((Hugs))) Crafty mojo is a fickle thing. I hope yours comes back soon. Those papers looked beautiful on the screen - I know I was tempted by them @sunnycamom - cute rhyme myboysnme - Lucky you - I haven't ever made it to a big event like an Expo but they sound so fun! Happy Birthday Month! DH is gone for a week - he leaves on iNSD and comes back during the 2peas crop so I'm hoping to make it a scrappy week+ between the two weekends and that week in the middle. I don't drive so I'll be 'stuck' at home while he's gone...no errands/appts = more time to play.

mikklynn boxes from the liquor store are perfect for packing albums and books. Smaller sized, but just the right amount of weight you can carry them.

I was in JoAnn's this week hoping they'd updated their AC display, but they're still clearancing last year's papers. Of course I walked out with another handful, lol mikklynn, good luck with the move! The last time I had to pack, we had just finished retiling with 12x12 tiles, so I grabbed up all the boxes for my paper as soon as they were emptied! jeremysgirl and sunnycamom, I adore both those lines Enjoy!

I used up a lot of old blank card fronts for teacher appreciation. In the process, I found five Valentine's cards I could have used this year! Proud of myself for using the long ago Koala die I made on my cricut for a *koality* teacher. 😁 I cannot find the cord to my cricut! Of all the things to misplace. I've not had this issue before.

Not sure how I missed that line, except I was out of town last week so maybe missed a lot of posts that I didn't go back and catch up on. Anyway, I just now looked at it and it's gorgeous!!! I can see how you wouldn't have been able to resist...I'm thinking along those lines as well. Ahem, I really don't need any more paper (repeat to self ad infinitum...) We'll see whether I can resist, LOL. I love that postage stamp washi tape too. Hope your crafty mojo returns!

Update: yeah, I caved and bought a bunch of items from the 49 and Market Sherbet line. The washi tape I wanted was out of stock so I'm waiting on that one and will order when they notify me that it's back in.

After packing up all the scrapbooks for my move, I am thinking I need to reduce the quantity of albums for the grandkids. I had a lot of fun making them, but gosh there are too many.
Has anyone done this? I am thinking about going through them and where I have multiple pages, reducing to one or maybe two. I know I went overboard in the early years of grandmotherhood!

Well, my entire craft collection is packed up. It is definitely the biggest category of boxes in my move! It's more than I thought. I can't wait to get my new area organized. Hopefully by the time my current house sells and closes, I'll have an idea of what furniture I need to buy.

I finally ordered March & April 2022 photos last night.
With all my sb stash in the basement, I feel no motivation to do anything crafty. I haven't actually touched it since putting it all down there.

With all my sb stash in the basement, I feel no motivation to do anything crafty I felt the same way when I was downstairs. I had quite a large space and it was fine, but removed. Then we had some changes in our household and I had to give up that space and move upstairs to a space about 1/4 of what I had previously. It required much downsizing, but after getting used to this, I like it much better. I find I do more when my stuff is not tucked away downstairs. Is there anyway you could have a small craft space upstairs and use the downstairs like a store and "shop" there?

I haven't actually touched it since putting it all down there. Been there. Moving into a house where my scrap stuff had to go into the basement started a long dry spell. Maybe you could put the basics and a couple of kits into a bin that you could bring upstairs. I know it's a challenge because there's always something you left downstairs or wish you had at your fingertips.

My March & April photos were delivered yesterday.
I sorted them by event/date, but put them back in the envelopes they came in.
I'm hoping that this weekend I will look at them again & jot down a little journaling to use someday when I scrap again.
On a different note, I think Snapfish changed their photo paper and I don't love it. But I'm not sure if they changed it or it's just my imagination that it seems thinner. Also seems more glossy, even though I ordered matte. IDK for sure, honestly.
I'm also going to make more of an effort to use my camera again, and not just my phone. Phone is okay, but definitely not the quality of a real camera.

I tackled my craft area in my new house. The movers just stacked all the boxes in front of my furniture, so I have to move all the boxes first. It's going to be a process, for sure!
