Has anyone taken a look at this months kits? I was really disappointed in all 4 of them. The colors on several kits just are not for me and the other two just seem disjointed in what's included.
I was thinking of buying the international scrapbook day kit, but you have to buy another kit to get it.

marie, I went and looked and it looks like the iNSD kit is sold out...but I looked at the other ones, and I have to ask (I am really asking, not just being snarky) is there really 22 dollars worth of product in there? Or are you paying for the curration? (if that is even a word lol) I did get a kit from there over a year ago, and I feel like it wasn't that much more and it had a stamp set, etc...I don't know-as someone who really likes to pick their own stuff, I don't think currated kits are for me.

When the club started, they offered regular kits. I’m not sure when, but sometime in the last year, they switched to the current ones which are page kits that come with instructions. I really like their unique acrylics but I haven’t bought a kit in a while.

If I bought all that individually BEFORE the sequins it would be about $11.62. I just priced all the items. Let's say $2 for the sequins. Thar puts it at $13.62.

I agree with you on the value of these. When the club started, the kits were much different. I stopped buying them when they changed. But I bought a kit last month that seemed to be much bigger and included a stamp set. So I thought maybe the kits were going back to the original size. I stink at putting together my own kits so I like buying collection packs or kits. Edit: I just priced the Twinkle Twinkle and Party kits online and I was wrong, the value is there when you add everything up price wise. I think I get more for my money with a collection pack, but you can get other types of items in these kits.

You said the kits don't really appeal to you this month, what are you looking for in terms of a kit? I like pattern papers, alphas and embellishments I can layer but look cohesive. I like things like Simple Stories foam stickers or bits and pieces. It might be that for this month's kits the sample layout didn't appeal. I'm not a fan of sequins or the acrylic pieces ( they stick up too much for my albums.) Do you like to use kits?

I do-I use Shimelle's Best of Both Worlds kit as a guide to build my own kit from my stash monthly. But you can also buy her kit off scrapbook.com each month. I am with you though, I could not use sequins on a LO, that would not work for me. Here is a link to her overview of the April LO's, the May kit, (in the video) I am not affilitated in any way, just a fan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=buaQXUZl63M

I really struggle putting things together on my own but with the size of my stash I may need to give it a try! Lol
