Who’s watching? Episode 3 devastated me. Love this show and will be sad to have it end. Really should have watched the last season again because DH and I keep forgetting things that happened previously. I won’t watch tonight’s episode until tomorrow. DH is not promising to not watch without me!

We just finished season 5 on Netflix. It had been so long since we saw season 4 that I was completely lost and kept confusing which characters were from better call saul and which were from breaking bad. 🤦🏼♀️

I get so confused with the timeline. Episode 3 made me sad too.

I clicked play something on Netflix, that came up. I saw the very first episode and it seems super depressing. I'd heard of it, but had no idea what it was about.

Last night's episode moved the story along without the intense emotions of episode three.
Someone above mentioned being confused by the timeline. I made this worse for myself by rewatching all of BCS before this final season, then I rewatched all of BB. I'm all straightened out now that I'm in BCS mode. Sunday I rewatched El Camino which is parallel to Gene's timeline. It will be interesting how they handle that storyline of BCS.

Better Call Saul is a prequel to Breaking Bad. We really enjoy it, but it is on the dark side. I don't think you necessarily need to have seen Breaking Bad to watch it. It does have a lot of the same characters.

My DH and I love this show. We watched Breaking Bad a little and both agree this show is way better. A lot of jaw dropping moments this season.

I love this show. This season has been amazing! It’ll be interesting to see how it wraps up & fills in the gaps right before & up to BB.

I love this show. This season has been amazing! It’ll be interesting to see how it wraps up & fills in the gaps right before & up to BB. And it has a LOT of gaps to fill. We never saw Kim on BB so we're wondering where she went. They have made several references that show she was a young girl in Nebraska. *Gene* works at Cinnabon in Omaha I believe which is post BB. Is she there? I hope so because I love Kim and her blond ponytail!
But man what they did to Howard...

Monday night’s episode couldn’t have been the last we hear about Kim. The writers are too good to do that to viewers!

One of DS's all time favorite shows is Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. In fact our cat is named after Jesse in Breaking Bad. He's also named after Jesse Owens. DS got me to watch both shows. I liked Breaking Bad better than Better Call Saul myself, but they are both very good.

Hoping we will see where she lands. I was glad she didn’t get murdered but kinda disappointed that she just faded away.

So excited to start new season. Maybe this weekend I will have time for that. Just need to make some preparations and fix the firestick remote. According to this website I can use my phone to control it but not sure how convenient is that. Anyone have done it before?

Monday night's episode was interesting. You have to remember back seasons ago when a man came up to Gene in the mall and said *You're Saul Goodman*. The whole point of Monday's episode was to make sure the guy never told anyone else who Gene really is. And how funny that they cast Carol Burnett as the guy's mom.
Only 3 more episodes.

I just noticed that tomorrow's episode is titled Breaking Bad!! How cool would it be if we *met* Walter and Jesse!

I just hate the episodes/scenes set in Omaha. The mall leaves me so depressed.
When does he live in Omaha? Between or after the timeframe for both series? I really hope that’s not how he spends the rest of his life.

I hope he ends up on a beach somewhere. He's far from perfect and deserving, but I have a soft spot for him and hope he has some modicum of safety and happiness.

So he tried to call Kim but, since he was in a phone booth, we couldn't hear what was going on. He didn't look happy as he kicked the glass in the bottom of the booth.
Loved seeing scenes from when he met Walter and Jesse. I figured they would do that this episode.
However, I found the episode as a whole a tad underwhelming.

We see that whatever happened with the phone call caused Jimmy to lose any soul he had left. I want him to go to prison. The grave/fade to bed scene seemed to foreshadow death. That would be the easy way out. Saul needs to pay for his crimes.

Can’t believe there is only one more episode. It will be interesting to see what happens. I really liked the exchange with Kim and Jesse in this episode.

Within a few episodes they have made Gene into an unlikeable character. Are they setting us up for his demise/death?

Within a few episodes they have made Gene into an unlikeable character. Are they setting us up for his demise/death? I think so. He’s irredeemable. He can’t help himself from making bad choices. He’s everything Chuck ever said he was. Kim chose to atone for her sins this week, and he was ready to strangle Marion with a phone cord. My guess is he dies in the desert somehow. He’s had trouble in the desert throughout both shows. I am going to miss this show so much. Its the only appointment television I’ve had since Breaking Bad.

Totally shocked to see Kim!!!
She's certainly going to come out of this with her soul intact.
What a great actress Rhea Seehorn is!
