Ha! I was going to start a thread asking if anyone has taken any of their (paid) clases before. Any thoughts on these? JM has got SO much free content out there (which I've been totally taking advantage of) that I wonder what she does differently and that she charges for?

There are a couple of things that I don't have (the foil stuff and gel stuff), but that's ok.

This is what I got www.onlinecardclasses.com/product/crushing-on-cardstock/And loved it, skipped the winter/holiday one. You can purchase them anytime there is no time limit other than the $3 savings for early bird.

I'm really tempted to sign up for this. The card stock class looks great, too, but I'll wait for a sale for that - the herringbone cards I see on Instagram from it are really cool.

Crushing on Cardstock has been on sale - only $18.00. Ditto azcrafty’s opinion about it. Just terrific. MichyM I think your aesthetic and “Crushing” would be a great match.

Thanks. I think I'm going to skip the newest class for now and instead take the crushing cardstock class. Fun stuff on the hashtag on IG. pinklady, have you started it yet?

I was going to sign up tomorrow. With all that's going on in the world, I desperately need to escape and be crafty so I don't go postal!

Rainy afternoon without plans here, so I may start on it today. I'd love to see what you create once you get started (if you feel like sharing). And totoally agree about having an escape.

First class landed today. A couple of fun techniques for inky backgrounds. No time to play with this today, but this looks really fun. The one technique produces two backgrounds at a time, so might be fun to use for backgrounds the 12 card challenge or the SLoC.

Thank you grammadee . Please keep us updated and I would like to know your opinion if you think its worth getting the class. Worth it for ME, I think, but I don't have the same card making skill or experience that you do. Have you done transfer inking from one paper to another with inks? The other technique was painting with water the inside of outline stamps that had been heat embossed on an inked background. I remember this technique from a few years ago painting on cardstock with bleach to remove the colour, but hadn't thought to do it with Distress inks. She does a good job of explaining and demonstrating.

Last week was inking. This week was diecutting. Some ideas for experienced card makers, I think, yet lots of hints and tricks for beginners. I didn’t bring my inks or my die cutting equipment, but I enjoyed watching the videos and plan to use some of these techniques after I am home. cycworker, you may like this class too.
