Big sigh - isn't it gorgeous and organized? I aspire to this greatness!

I can totally appreciate the organization, but it isn't my color choice. It does look clean though!

It’s a beautiful room but I could never function with some much to choose from. I have a hard enough time now trying to decide what paper, stamps, inks, etc to use. It definitely makes me feel a lot less guilty about the amount of things I have accumulated over the years though.

That was my first thought as well. Beautiful but I would be stressed with indecision with so many choices. Sometimes I wonder if I have too many things, and now I think no. She seems to really be into stamping, so a lot of it doesn't appeal to me. I admire her organization skills though.

Love that room! That large white table just makes my heart happy. The number of ink blenders she has…wow!

She has a room tour on you tube, also a video of her satellite room where she lives part of the year. She calls it the mini mint and has one of those scrapbook wardrobe type pieces of furniture. I forget what they’re called but her mini mint is similar, also well organized, just on a smaller scale.

Sometimes I wonder if I have too many things, and now I think no. That was MY thought, too. I just need a bigger room and lots of storage systems! but then I thought “Who am I kidding?” I would need a personal assistant to come with the room, grab the stuff I toss to the side as I focus on what will go on my page next, and return everything to its proper place. Seriously, though I love the standing height counter and the option to just go round the room and pull out what catches my eye…

I would love to work my way through all those supplies. Looks like a gorgeous play area.

The room is gorgeous, and I love the colorful rug. I've never heard of her, but I assume she crafts for a living since she has a blog featuring different products. One of the things I appreciated in Victoria Marie's organizational videos is that she had a disclaimer about scrapbooking being her business as well as her hobby. It's nice to take away some ideas, though, even though I don't have nearly as many supplies.

Holy cow. I really try not to judge or question someone else's supplies, but if I did the math right she probably has over 1300 mini ink cubes. That is about 1200 more colors then I could ever think about using.
The rainbowness of it all is beautiful though. It all seems like inks and glitters and paints and coloring stuff. I don't see embellishments at all. That is always the hardest stuff for me to store.

grammadee, someone said recently to me that it's not your organizational skills that matter, it is your put away skills! I'd have that room trashed in no time!

It is well stocked and I love white furniture/organizers for a craft room, but that would not be my dream craft room. Too much stuff. I want a bright, calm room with some color. Not one that is screaming PARTY!! (as lovely as it is). I am also one that want most (not all) of the supplies behind door or drawers.

It's well organized and lovely. But personally, way too perfectly curated for me. I feel like it lacks personal personality. I love being organized, but I also like a space to be reflective of me and reflect my personality and style. To each, their own.

Imagine having to reorganise and move every ink pad and refill and marker down one or two spots x hundreds of times every time a company came out with a new colour… everyone else would be “yay Tim holtz has a new colour” and she’d be screaming obscenities into her pillow I bet, especially if it meant she’d have to start a new storage cube as she’d run out of room!! That’s enough of a down side to having a collection like this for me (says the green eyed monster who would love a room like this even if it would trigger all her compulsive completionist tendencies!) As I’m not a card maker I also think I’d struggle to use all of that plain coloured card stock without making a few thousand cards. But I LOVE how everything has its place and how happy and bright it is…. Maybe I do need a room like this?!?

With the huge wardrobe scrapping furniture? I have a standing height desk to craft at and a tower from them and I LOVE both pieces of furniture!

While it really looks nice, I wonder how many of those ink pads and Copic markers will dry out before she gets a chance to use them? Who needs every single shade of color? There’s some serious money in that room, she will never need to buy another thing.
Kinda takes all the fun out of it.

I've seen her craft room featured in several places and I agree that it's beautiful. The one thing I can't wrap my head around is how much DUSTING there would need to be! When I started papercrafting, I loved open storage, but I've transitioned into closed storage because then I just have to clean the outside of the container, not each individual item.

Her room is lovely, colorful, and well organized.
It looks like an ad for product.
And I must have missed where her albums are.

The rainbow look makes me happy. But honestly this looks like a store to me. I'm quite grossed out by the sheer amount of excess here. The idea of someone having all this and then not being able to use it all just makes my head spin.

Desk height except when doing lots of paper cutting - that’s the only tall table I have (Ikea adjustable legs set to a comfortable height). A+ for the impressively dazzling room, yet not as much my style as some somewhat calmer, simpler ones I’ve seen.

All of the organized color is pretty, but the thought of all of those choices makes my brain hurt. I would feel so claustrophobic in there as well.
Also, my dream room would have all my machines (die cutters, silhouette, sewing machine, etc.) out so that I just have to sit/stand at them and use....ready to go. (All neat and pretty, of course!) I HATE clearing out a space, taking tool out, unwrapping cord, plugging in, USING, then reverse....unplug, wrap cord, shove back into cabinet.

I don't see embellishments at all. That is always the hardest stuff for me to store. I have resisted the urge to link to this person's room for a while because I judge her so hard! but also respect her right to spend money however she wants. And especially because she has full set syndrome in 2 homes, with duplicates of so many things. Just the full set of handles for blending tools makes me crazy with the wastefulness. And I'm not certain but pretty sure she has a full set for oxides and for distress in each home. And I legit thought that the photos she was sharing were her shop for quite a while after I started following her on IG. I don't think a craftroom should be mistaken for a retail shop. They have very different purposes. Also, one of the tours she shared of her mini-mint Dreambox/Workbox (which I am obsessed with, not just hers but all of them) made it clear to me that most of the stuff is arranged for show, not for use. All the beautiful rainbow shelves of colorful stuff she doesn't use look great. (The inks she does use - she's on some DTs and makes cards that definitely have a lot of ink.) But her most-used supplies were almost all stuffed in the lower, out of the way regions of her storage, pretty messy looking and they seemed hard to get to... which just doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, I don't want to be judge-y. (I'm sorry) Everyone should do what makes them happy so long as they aren't hurting anyone else. So I'm going to share this blog post about the process of re-doing her room which might have practical advice... www.thepapermint.com/post/2015/04/17/the-papermint-studio-lessons-learned
