I am completely out of toilet paper. So for the past day, I have been using Kleenex. Except I'm almost out of Kleenex. Soon, I will have to move on to those rough paper napkins.
There's an old cantaloupe in my fridge. I never cut it up. It's starting to stink. Except it doesn't stink in my fridge, it stinks in my freezer... What's up with that?
I washed my sheets... Two days ago. Forgot to dry them. So now they smell like mildew. So what--now I have to wash them in vinegar? Am I going to have vinegar sheets? Seriously, are they going to smell like pickles?
So here's my to do list for today... 1. Buy toilet paper. And Kleenex. And napkins. 2. Throw away the rotten cantaloupe. 3. Wash my sheets in vinegar.
I live a charmed life...

Oh no! I definitely should make a trip to the grocery store too! But we just need food after our long trip away. I bought the basics on the way home from the airport, but need the rest.
Actually you won't smell the vinegar. I use it all the time in almost every load of laundry as a softener and DH has never complained. He would if he smelled it!

I'm so jealous of people that can use vinegar. I see so many great uses for it but I'm allergic and will break out into hives as soon as I smell it.

I couldn't help but notice that along with all of your issues today, you look like an alien since you don't have an avatar. LOL Kind of funny looking default avatars on this site.
Your sheets shouldn't smell like vinegar so you should be fine.

Ooh! Thanks for the reminder! I have a spaghetti squash on the counter at our other house and I have been at this house for over a week. Guess I will have to take a run to town today and grab that. Hope my fingers don't sink into it when I do. Ick.

In order to get rid of that gawd-awful musty smell (which is one of my least favorite smells on this earth that for some reason my husband seems immune to) ammonia in the wash also works.

If your sheets are really ruined you can tear them up and use them to wipe your booty since you have no TP.

I have two mangos fermenting on my countertop. I'm thinking of leaving them out in the front yard for the squirrels. The last time I did that, they all got drunk and stumbled around the neighbourhood.

And this, ladies, is why I was in such a funk last night after learning of the untimely death of our former refuge.
I didn't post much, but I lurked every single day and often got some learning or a laugh. I was at a loss until today upon finding this!
The NSBR lives!!
Off to find some fermenting fruit to help contribute to the delinquency of the bunnies in my backyard. That will be hilarious!
