When you get embellishments that are punch outs, do you leave them in the page until use, or punch them out and organize them a different way? I recently got the 49th and Sherbet embellishments and was a tiny bit annoyed they were punch out. Obviously I should have gotten that info from the photo/description, but was beyond excited they were in stock, so just hit "buy" and sent them my way!
Would you punch them out, or would you leave them in the cardstock until use? I don't really like to flip through punch outs, they catch on things...but not 100% sure how to store them after being punched either, as they are not super theme-y...anyway, just curious. TIA!
(also on a side note, not sure how much I love this collection. It was wayyyyy more vibrant on my computer screen ETA...this collection is very pretty! I think it is just not as themed as I am used to, and I need to wrap my head around it being used as support color for other collections rather than a stand alone scrapbook collection, it has a very "blank canvas" feeling to it, which can be really good, I am just not used to it)

I leave them in until I use them, then will remove them when I've used up most of them and organize them by type (floral/word/travel/etc).

The only embellishment I know that you have to punch out is chipboard. I leave it in until there are just a few left and then I add it to my Iris photo storage container with other various loose embellishments.

I buy relatively few packs of embellishments since they're often heavily themed, & chipboard is the only "punch-outs." I immediately remove chipboard pieces from the sheet. Since I'm not a collection scrapper & it doesn't matter to me from which collection embellishments are purchased, all chipboard pieces, ephemera/diecuts, etc. from a given manufacturer are stored together (ie the contents of each pack/sheet are unceremoniously dumped) in an Iris 4x6 photo case. HTH.

I have a few 49&Market collections with the laser cut punch outs. Not sure if it will work for your organizing scheme or not, but I leave them in and store it with the paper. They seem fairly delicate and for me I think this will keep them in good shape. So far they aren’t falling out or anything. I wish they were die cuts, but also love how detailed they are. Good luck using the collection, even if it wasn’t quite what you pictured. Some of the pieces are definitely more vibrant than others. I love it all and hope you can make it work

I would leave them in the sheet until they are almost gone. I actually prefer the punch out sheets to packs of diecuts, cuz if you look at the sheet you can see them all at once and don’t need to dig through them all to find what you want to use. What is it that has you feeling disappointed, kmage? That sherbet collection is huge and divided into colour families. I am enjoying the blue/green papers and cards.

And idea that was shared years ago by a pea helped me with not knowing what I had. Almost all embellishment die cuts come with an image on the backside. Once I use a die cut, I mark it off. I still have to pour them out to get the one(s) I want lol but I can just quickly grab what I need.

I'm sorry it's not the colours you expected kmage! I find the colours beautiful, but the distressing, the amount of white, it makes it more "ethereal" and soft. I like it, but have only used it once so far. It would make an amazing baby book, right? I'm keeping the embellies in the sheets. I find they store well and like grammadee said I can see multiples at a time rather than sifting through a bunch of bitty die cuts. But I'm STORING them with my embellishment packages or I'll forget about them.

Photoplay diecuts come like this often, but the size of sheets are small, maybe a 6x8 for the largest size. I punch them out, and put them in the DVD storage sleeves, along with the packaging that shows what pieces are in there. As mentioned above, I cross through the pieces as I use them.
ETA: I store my diecuts all together, as I often mix and match when looking for icons for a theme. I mark on the collection that I have diecuts, so I remember to pull them out when scrapping them.

I keep my paper lines together in baggies. Many of the embellishments stay with that line until I use them. After that, extras go elsewhere.

I prefer mine not punched out if they come on a sheet unless they would be really close to gone. If I buy a significant portion of a collection, I keep embellishments and everything together, so likely they are in with paper that helps keep them stable and in place. Same with the ton of chipboard pieces I have, even if they aren't with coordinating products, there is no way I would ever punch them all out and transfer them to another storage container. I get why that may work for some organization styles, but that would drive me bonkers having to dig through a little box or bin of them. The only thing I did that with are paper labels (like when you would get sheets of the punch out non-sticky labels from SC). I have them all in a little metal pail and I usually end up dumping them out and spreading them out to find what I'm looking for. It annoys me for some reason.

I leave them in. I still am picking my jaw off the ground the way Janet from RTS individually glues all her ephemera onto notebook pages. I feel like I am doing something if I put them in the container with the rest of my ephemera/stickers/chipboard.

I'd leave them stuck in place in the original packaging until they start looking too messy. At that point. I'd pop them out and store them in a 4x6 plastic zip bag. I throw everything in those stupid bags. Stickers, die cuts, dies, anything small and flat. Eventually, when they no longer have a home with the collection they rode in on, they go to live out their days in a file box with the rest of the 4x6 bags until that one magical day when they get ATGd to a layout. I think I should get some sleep.

I punch out and keep them in a zippy bag. I need to arrange choices of embellishments on my pages before committing to a certain grouping.

I think the choice will be made for me, as I continued to look at them, they started falling out of the paper. I put some washi on the back but am worried that it might damage them. So we will see. kitbop, after thinking about it, it's not the colors I guess, but maybe it threw me off from lack of theme? I think I am just not used to such a "painterly" collection and just having color and no direction, so I will be using the Sherbet collection in a different way than other things I have bought. I did not buy much of it, so that was good I think.

i leave them in until there are so few on the sheet that it's better to punch them out.

I punch and store them in plastic envelopes. I keep matching embellishments with the matching papers and stickers.
