Can you be a Pea and not have Fiesta? I have no interest in the fiesta dishes or serveware. I prefer the matte stoneware. I have an assortment from both Target (Magnolia) and Cost Plus (Trilogy).

Have fun in your search. I am a third-generation dish lover. Out of the newer Correlle patterns, I have and love "Splendor." I still love the Correlle "Morning Blue" that my mother started me out with in the '80s. For "good dishes," she set me up with "Old Country Roses." Growing up, our everyday dishes were Homer Laughlin "Harlequin" dishes, so I loved collecting certain Fiesta ware colors.

I can’t remember if you’re open to melamine. THIS SET is pretty, but perhaps too much blue. It does seem to have all your colors. I love dishes! I’m not in the marker, since I’ve got a fairly new set of corelle, but I’m having fun looking for you! ETA: if you’re open to melamine, just google melamine dinnerware on Amazon. There are some lovely sets that are not white! Too many to link.

We went through a few different sets of stoneware and finally switched to Corelle. They have tons of colors and patterns and I like that they arent heavy. I have both and would really like to find a new Corelle like set. Corelle is just so white. I have 30 yo Corelle. Ex got the fiesta ware in the divirce because I already have the 1.5 sets of pfaltzgraff as well that we used for special occasions. (Naturewood & winterwood ) So to add color to my Corelle table I’m on the hunt if luminarc plates. They are colorful glass plates that have several colors that will coordinate with my Corelle. Only issue is, they are from France and the colors I want are hard to track down. Anyway, long story short, for lighter weight but colorful plates look into luminarc they have several that are easily available here. ( just not the colors I want lol ) Oh wait, I take that back they have at least 1 if the colors I’m after But here’s these multi colored sethttps://food52.com/shop/products/9239-arty-glass-dinnerware?sku=30321&gclid=CjwKCAjw4ayUBhA4EiwATWyBrpg6oF9MJoWs8n3A8iWxgC-1rKtn47_HfU-9n06DrtDWgXWUo2PjFRoCVBsQAvD_BwE

I think having a some white makes food look appealing and is a nice contrast with a thick band of warm - and of course food covers a lot of the white for some styles. But maybe the Luminarc will do the trick. I’m another one who isn’t into Fiestaware - too heavy and I like a lighter look too. I had quite a bit of vintage Fiestaware, including some rare pieces, but eventually got rid of it. The hunting was really fun way back when though.

Check out Fiestaware - Meadow. It’s a newish shade of green that might go with your new kitchen.
I forgot to suggest to try their lunch plates. They are a little bit smaller and not quite as heavy as the dinner plates. If you decide to get Fiesta, you will really enjoy adding pieces and different colors.

For everyday, we had melamine when the kids were growing up. Even though it can’t go in the microwave, it was important that our kids could could use the dishes and load/unload the dishwasher. We just used plastic microwave plates for heating things up.
For nicer meals, we had other plates, and for fancy holidays, we had china.
We have retired the melamine and now have Corelle, which I love. However, I think it gets too hot in the microwave, so we still use the plastic microwave plates when needed.

I'm having fun checking out all the suggestions. I'll be interested to know what you decide on. [with pics, of course]. Of course! I checked out everyone's suggestions and then started focusing on green. I saw some Fiesta ware that was green that had been retired about ten years ago and I loved it. So down the rabbit hole I dove looking at green plates. I went on either Etsy or Mercari and found a green with a stoneware bottom that spoke to me. It was $79 for a place setting of four and had no name brand on it... suspicious, I thought. Then I Googled the description and found the EXACT SAME SET at Walmart with the BHG brand - Artisanal Glazed Stoneware Sage green for half the price. So I ordered two sets and might have fondled them a bit as I put them in the cabinet. I couldn't wash them since we have no water and the guys who were sanding our floors had just arrived. But I thought someone might ask for a picture and since they really seemed to look good in my cabinets... Pay no attention to the missing backsplash and wire for under cabinet lighting! Here's the kicker, when my husband saw the plates, he kind of freaked out a bit. I explained that 20 year old plates were fine to replace if they were day to day plates and not worth much. They actually fit right in the boxes the new plates came in and are waiting to go to Goodwill. Then he said, "Well, you kept the white plates, didn't you?" Ugh, yes, I kept them but only because I haven't found a Corelle pattern that screams 950nancy. Any my old Corelle set is on eBay for $150+. Haha. flic.kr/p/2nnS6Nt

Can you be a Pea and not have Fiesta? Apparently the answer is Yes. I have none. It is too heavy for me. Same here, for exactly the same reason. It’s also too thick for the quantity I’d want to fit in the space I have allotted for dishes in my cabinet. I have a dozen dinner plates and 9 salad plates all in a single stack less than 4” tall.

If you're ever ready for good china, let me know. I keep meaning to sell my Royal Doulton/Royal Albert Old Country Roses set.
I also have a Mikasa set for the Fall, but it's only service for 4 (uneven set with a LOT of cups/saucers). That set is oven-safe, microwave-safe, etc.
Good luck with your search. Sometimes Kohl's has good sales on their sets. Also, you might hit it right at Homegoods and find dishes there. That's where I got a big set of Easter dishes, etc.
My aunt had Old Country Roses and I will always be sorry that I didn't ask my uncle for it when he was moving into a small place. It probably went to a thrift store somewhere. My aunt loved to be social and always hosted the family gatherings, so seeing that dinnerware reminds me of all the family dinners that we attended over the years. How many place settings do you have? I am downsizing so I am really really trying to let go of things instead of acquiring new things, but I just may end up having a place for those dishes. I will know after I buy a new house to learn how much space I have.

Those are pretty, almost the same green as my winterwood pfaltzgraff. Enjoy them! I’m holding off right now on my personal plate saga to find out if my Corelle has lead or not. If yes then I’ll ditch it & buy 2 multi colored Luminarc probably both the warms & the cool tone multi colored sets. If no then I’ll stick to the pink & green that coordinate with my Corelle Leave it to the peas to have i fo I hadn’t heard before!

I will know after I buy a new house to learn how much space I have. I bought two sets of four. The plates are not heavy, but the cups take up some real estate. I also bought these bear plates to go on my dining room table. I saw them at a really nice store for almost twice what I paid for them at Tractor Supply Co. I don't have a lot off bear stuff, but these plates were just so pretty and I do keep my dining room table decorated for the seasons and the bears will be summer. www.hiendaccents.com/collections/dinnerware-sets/products/bear-16-pc-dinnerware-setI have my mom and grandmother's depression tableware (clear and blue), a 13 piece set of Mikasa china from our wedding and then our Corelle and this BHG setting for everyday eating. I have a lot of stuff and I have downsized a lot. I guess that is what happens when you inherit a lot of stuff. Both of my sons' SOs just look at my things and laugh. One of them has a mom who has twice as much, so maybe I don't look AS bad. I do think it's okay to let things go. I am taking another load to Goodwill today just to empty out my SUV so I can pick up tile.

I absolutely love those! That colour is something I would choose - if and when I ever want to replace all my mismatched dishes. Haha. In the meantime, I do have a few bowls in that shade of green and they make me smile. I can just imagine how happy these make you. And good on you for doing a little digging and finding such a great deal!
Edited to add: Oh, I just looked at your bear plates and they are really cute!

I've always wanted that pattern and I slowly began to buy it and people bought me sets as gifts. My ex actually tried to say that it was HIS in the divorce, but I got all of it (as well as my HUGE service for 18 + hostess pieces of my Nikko Christmas set). It's touching that it meant so much to you. xo

Meant to add that my DS bought me a big set of white square dishes from Kohl's a few years ago. He tried to convince me to keep my seasonal/holiday dishes boxed up and just dress up the table for holidays instead. Not crazy about white dishes either, but prepping food on them really makes it look pretty! These dishes are also heavy. The older I get, the less heavy my dishes should be.

Forgive me for not reading all the posts, but we currently use the Corelle Boutique Adlyn set. (I tried the Fiesta line when we redid our kitchen in our prior house from 2010 and moved that set to our new home in 2016. By 2017 I was tired of the weight of the Fiestaware and went back to Corelle {having used it since childhood and then when we were married over 30 years ago}.)
To the best of my recollection I purchased the Adlyn set directly from Corelle, but I could be wrong.
The set you purchased by BHG is lovely!
Enjoy your new kitchen!
