I haven't watched it in years but just saw it featured on Netflix last night and figured I would start at the beginning again. I tried to see how far I had gotten when I last watched it and couldn't so starting over is the only way to go.

I still love GA - it is one of my favorite shows but yeah, WTH ??
I mean, they have only one doctor now and she doesn't seem to even want to be there. I know it is coming back next season so how are they going to do that?
I did love seeing all the flashback scene though (since it was their 400th episode).

Spoiler:
Okay the father meeting the baby brought me to tears. And yes all the doctors leave...😱 But I loved the music and the flashbacks so much. And Meredith at the end sounded like young Meredith for a moment. But next year will be what a new cast? A spin-off for a new show? Very strange ending.

Spoilers...
This entire season has been my least favorite. I hated the Minnesota storyline. For some reason Ellen Pompeo has had few scenes with the other key members of the cast. I assumed it was because of Covid. She wanted to limit the number of people she contacted. Maybe that is why they wrote that entire MN Parkinson storyline, but in the last 3 episodes or so she has had contact with more people - a lot of extras in the operating room and other scenes. So is there some issue between her and the rest of the cast? I don't know but it is noticeable that she is not involved in anyone's storyline but her own, Richards and Bailey's.
Because of bad weather, most of the first episode last night was interrupted so I've seen in them in reverse. It makes more sense now. Everything I saw last night was a frantic mess. I assume that at least some of the ones departing will return. Somehow they will get their program back. There is one resident I would be happy to lose - Helm. Her character has never really added anything to the show. I love Schmidt so I hope he will be back.
Once again though, TV has ignored a woman's right to choose to be child-free. Kai wanted a life without children but it appears she is going to set that aside to be with Amelia. Just once, I would like a show to have a woman say 'I don't want children' and actually stick to it.
I liked all the clips with Ellis and Meredith. I don't care for those little flashback snippets so fast you can barely tell who is in the scene much less put it in context. I get nothing out of seeing George or Izzie flash across my screen without saying anything. I know it was the 400th but I'd rather they put the time into storytelling.

I stopped watching when Meredith had Covid. Used to be my favorite show.

I still watch but I haven't really enjoyed it in a few years now. Last night's episode was pretty disappointing. I didn't realize it was the 400th episode so I did not understand all the frantic flashbacks that really didn't add anything to the story. I don't have many shows I watch anymore so I'll keep watching Grey's but I doubt it will get any better.

I, too, had tears steaming at the father who was dying. And I had to check to make sure this wasn’t the series finale, because it sure seemed like it was heading in that direction. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next!

That fake baby was so weird, it took me right out of the scene.

I think Jackson and April are coming back next year. I couldn’t care less what Owen and Teddy do. Bailey will will reconsider and come back. Stapler can go back to Minnesota.
Meredith looked like hell this whole season. I hope she gets some rest and comes back refreshed.

I hate this show with a vile passion yet I committed myself, and I am going to watch it to the bitter end.
I rewatched all of ER last summer with my daughter. It was even better than I remembered.
Grey's Anatomy just needs to go quietly into the night.
