I have a cuisinart, I don't know the model though. It works well, and I've replaced it with the same model when it finally conked out. Your first link takes me to my shopping bag at Macy's. I know mine is not the second one you linked at Overstock.

Your first link does not go to anything specific just Macy's.

I have a Cuisnart coffee maker but the one with the metal carafe. I'm not fond of the glass pots, after a while the coffee doesn't taste good so I prefer a metal carafe.
I'm not sure what the difference is between the two you've picked, maybe one is an older model. I think either one would be fine.

I think my latest is the best.. some things I enjoy..the hopper at the top that holds the beans= always ready..the capacity= perfect for groups..the features..program,since. I am widow,I use the cups feature usually 4-6 cups, very little wasted.but most of all,the beans are crushed for better flavor.I just replaced mine which was more than 10 years old and was always pleased with it,but the newer model has me smiling at ease of use. Good luck
Look @ the dgb-900 series..mine is so easy to clean!

My friend has the first one. It makes great coffee, but it's a pain to clean. One thing to keep in mind is that even if you choose to use pre-ground coffee instead of the beans, the grinder portion still gets wet and has to be cleaned. (The machine won't work unless the grinder pieces are in place.) I totally judge kitchen items by how much of a pain it is to clean it. I'm guessing both models would be like this.

If you are familiar with the parts and cleaning ,it would be easy to understand .on my older model,I Disliked the grinding mechanism and a small part that was in the lid ,that when the lid closed would initiate the grinding process. As it aged, it became unstable and eventually broke off. The model I just purchased has eliminated that.In summary, the new one is better built and more cleaning friendly. HTH!

I have the second model that you posted. It works really well but there are a couple of issues. First it's a pain in the butt to clean the grinder so I don't use it if it's just me having coffee that day. Secondly it's very difficult to see the water level in the holding compartment If you aren't making a full pot of coffee.
I'm used to those things now though and in general quite like it. It keeps the coffee nice and hot and I like having the grind feature.

We had a Cuisinart Grind and Brew and the steam from the coffee gets into the grinding area and makes the grounds stick like crazy. We bought a Breville that has a door that closes to prevent this and it's much better.
