What is the best white card stock to use in a printer? I have 2 sheets of Bazzill left and it's the thinner one with a textured side and smooth side.
I have a Canon TR printer/scanner if that helps.
Hoping to find a paper that is a little thicker that won't clog the printer.
Thanks!

do you need it to be 12x12?
I buy my basic 8.5x11 white CS off Amazon, a brand called "Accent Opaque". They have an 80lb thickness which is what a lot of scrappers use, but I prefer the 100lb for the printer and die cutting, and I buy the even heavier stuff for card bases.

No, as I have to cut down the 12x12 now to fit! Thanks, will look at that brand. No issue with the 100 lb going through?

It depends on the printer as much (more?) as the paper. Every model is designed to take different weights. My Canon takes 80 and 110 pound Neenah Classic Crest in solar white very well but it’s made for cardstock. My last Canon did not. Which TR do you have? For example the TR4500 series isn’t made to take cardstock: ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/TR4500%20series/EN/UG/ug-189.html “You can use paper in the following weight range - 17 to 28 lb (64 to 105 gsm)” If you google on your printer model and paper or paper weight the range of weights will be on their descriptions. Or post the name here? Does your Bazzill go through the main paper tray or do you put it through the top or back? And do you happen to know the gsm or the name of the Bazzill? Bazzill (American Crafts now) makes so many different papers there’s no way of knowing what’s a little thicker. I have some textured/smooth Bazzill but the thicknesses vary. Comparing pounds from company to company or even different lines within the same company doesn’t work. For example Neenah Exact Index 110 pound is much thinner than Classic Crest 110 pound. Exact Index gsm is 199 and Classic Crest is 297. If we know the gsm of a paper, even without knowing what in the heck it means,, we’re comparing apples and apples and can find a paper that’s the same or heavier or lighter. But to guess, if your printer is made to accept cardstock, the Neenah Classic Crest 80 pound in solar white would work well and tons of cardmakers use the Classic Crest line, both 80 and 110. There are other options but if you can get paper in a small pack to try that would be safest.

I buy mine at Walmart Pen+Gear Premium White Cardstock, 8.5" x 11", 110 lb., 150 Sheets, 199 GSM
It's a decent multipurpose cardstock for me - I use it for printing journalling and digital journalling cards, for layout backgrounds and for cardmaking.

The accent opaque 80lb "super smooth" is 216 gsm and I purchased this for ease of going through my printer. It's a canon but a G3060 so I can't say whether it will go through your canon!
The 100lb is 271 gsm and is a "smooth" finish and I love it for die cuts. It will also go through my printer but it's definitely thicker.
The 120lb is 325 gsm and doesn't die cut as easily because of the thickness, but it still went through my printer for me!
But BOY have prices gone up!

Several months ago, I accidentally bought the Neenah 110lb Index card stock (thought it was the heavier classic crest people use for card bases). It's a little too light for card bases for my taste, but I love it for die cutting, stamping and Silhouette print-and-cut projects. It runs really well through my years-old HP envy. I've never had any issue with it getting stuck or not running through the printer.

What are you printing? I lrint all my journaling and use different smoothbwhite cardstock or even print onto journal/cut a part cards.
So it depends what your prints needs are. But the one I have has a rear feed tray that allows for the paper to be fed straight through and not around a roller.

Neenah CS
I bought this and it’s a nice weight for printing. When I’m in the States, I buy the Michael’s CS packs that are the 50 count packs.
