I have saved a bunch of ideas that would transfer to cards celebrating PRIDE easily.
Are pride cards a thing? Have you made any? If so, what kind of message did you write? Serious? Supportive? Fun? Silly/sparkly?
I only have a handful of LGBTQIA people in my life but I’d love to send them something if it wouldn’t be out of place. OR, what about making a bunch of cards and donating them to a local organization such as PFLAG or organizations that support young people who are/have come out so that they can give them to their clients?
What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I like making them (or generally rainbowy and supportive but not specifically for Pride month) but I've never really figured out what to do with them. I usually just send them to rainbow loving friends for birthdays or hellos. I like the idea of donating them but don't know any orgs specifically taking them. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say

What a great idea. I bought the Love is Love stamp set from Ali Edwards and haven't used it yet. I joined my local LGBTQ+ Society's Facebook group. I bet they would take cards to give out at their events. Maybe you can find a similar group in your area?

I follow Amy and am a patron - she’s great, very down to earth. And great idea to send some to an organization! One that came to mind in Washington DC is SMYAL, the Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League, which supports LGBTQ youth. I learned about them because one of my favorite Washington Nationals baseball players, Sean Doolittle, and his wife support them. https://smyal.org I bet there are groups near you… I wonder if kids like cards. They may be a bit unique for them, huh. I’d just get on the phone and start calling. Or emailing with a photo of one of the cards. Great idea @michy.

MichyM I love the idea of making a bunch and giving them to an organization. We have a Mom Hugs chapter and I got this kit from Joann's: m.youtube.com/watch?v=jEX-_LGKJQo&t=131sI think I am going to make some and give them to the Mom Hugs chapter to ha d out to those who could use a pick up. I love the sentiment to that come with the Hero Arts stamp set in the kit.

I would not be opposed to receiving a PRIDE card in the summer swap. I’m considering sending some support Ukraine cards.

I sent Pride cards out to my LGBTQ friends and they loved it! They appreciated me thinking of them! I bought the Pride die from SSS that Cathy Z designed and used that with other dies and stamps with beautiful rainbow colors! I send cards for everything so my friends expect it and look forward to them!
