This YT video from Choux Puff Creations just came across my feed. She's on the Layered Life Kit creative team unboxes the kit and makes a layout. Super cute, and now I am second guessing my decision not to purchase....Hmmm.... Choux Puff Creations--Layered Life KitI tried, but three minutes in and she still hasn’t opened up any packaging to show me what you’re getting. At this point, in my many years of you tube watching, I have no patience for rambling and hand fluttering and touching. Get to the product! One of the reasons I love Cards and Coffee Time. When she does an unboxing of the kit she works with, less than 1 minute in you get a still photo of the products included and then she dives in to each item individually. And then does a few projects to show you how to use them. |

So I sm bumping my own thread, now that I have gotten this kit a few months now.
I like the kits. I love the vintage feel, the colors. I like the paper weight. Its a little pricey for what you get, but I expect that since it is such a small, boutique company. I don't mind what they charge. What I do mind? The last two months they have had a coupon for a little off (its like 15%, so not a ton), but it is always like 3 days after they went on sale and you dont know about it unless you are watching all their stories. So, as someone who has paid full price and bought on release day, I get nothing off. But if I wait to shop, then I could have gotten a coupon code. I know that's the risk you run when you purchase on release day, but dang. How about reward those who are showing up every month and buying?
I also don't like how wishy-washy they are about when the kits will go up on the website. its like a guessing game and that drives me crazy.
Rant over. Carry on.

Thank you for the review + update, mom ! I just checked their Insta and can't find any info regarding a Christmas release (but nice to see they plan on getting digitals in the shop by tomorrow!). Have you by chance heard of anything? Sounds like you need to keep up with their stories to know what's going on... Tagging joblackford because "soak ital lin" drove me bonkers. The reason the release day changes every month is because of product not being back from the printer. So I wouldn't expect anything til way late honestly. |

You offer the 15% off for the release day shoppers, not the late comers! Thanks for the tag sleepingbooty. Kinda wish my name was Lin so I could soak Ital. Shame because they're a cool design. I don't even mind the split on excited because it reads pretty naturally, split into syllables at least. |

I like the kits, something fun, fresh and different.
We are going to Maui next month so I’ll take another look. Even though the kit is specifically Oahu oriented I can still see using it. I love the retro vibe. Just need a bigger screen and my glasses to commit.

I ordered all three available kits with the 50% off, they arrived today. I really like them and am dreaming of ways to scrap our Hawaiian vacay with them.
Looking forward to future kits. I do wish they would make some items traditional 3x4 size so I can incorporate them a bit easier into my PL.
