My May main scrapbook kit arrived and I’m underwhelmed. A few months ago I noticed the scrapbook kit included one less embellishment each month (four embellishments vs five), and the May kit has a package of fabric die cuts and the whole package is the same for cut! I don’t use wood veneer shapes often, leaving a Pinkfresh puffy alpha and some die cuts. The paper is pretty but I don’t feel like this kit has a lot of value. My May Kit also didn’t arrive until last week! I think I’m overall disappointed in May.
Maybe the pocket kit was better? Does anyone else subscribe? Thoughts?

Did they scale back kit contents because of inflation?
I subbed to the pocket page kit last year all year and I always thought those were a great value. But I haven't at all in 2020.

That is my guess, but I hate feeling like I need to spend another $25+ in order to get a full kit. I know costs have gone up… I probably would have felt better with a $3-5/month raise in prices but kept five embellishments. Four just isn’t enough for a kit, in my opinion.

I so wish companies would do that. I would rather pay more for the same thing than pay the same and get less.

Yes, I am a subscriber to the main kit and it has definitely gotten lighter. I’d rather get the same amount of product and pay a bit more. ☹️

I noticed the same thing. It feels a bit lighter than usual. I was expected some type of sprinkly embellishment like chipboard or enamel dots.
One question for you all who get the kit - How are the "die" cuts with your kit? Mine weren't cut with a die but with a laser. I noticed a "burned" looking edge and flipped it over to check. Sure enough, laser burns on the back. I'm glad I ink everything anyways. A lot of my cuts are off too. I've emailed about that and hoping they will replace them.

I haven’t looked at my die cuts yet, but from what I have read on other threads, and in emails from Hip Kit, they are still having supplier issues, so may have used a different paper supplier/manufacturer for this kit. And apparently Pinkfresh is also having paper supplier issues, so that makes sense, since Hip Kit Club uses the same manufacturer for their in-house designs.
