Exactly! I hate every one of these a$$holes who are speaking out against him now. It's too late. If they had spoken out at the time, maybe there wouldn't be sooooo many people who still love Trump and think he actually did win. Every Trump supporter I know in real life still thinks Trump was the rightful winner. I blame the idiots who were around him who kept quiet publicly until now. Just look at this board--a few weeks ago, someone did a poll to see if we thought there was enough evidence to convict Trump. I was shocked at the number of people who answered no. Exactly. They could have prevented this. Not coming out publicly lead to this it just empowered him more. Those that voted for the alternate electors what about them. They are guilty as well. What about all those that spoke out about Jan 6 until it was proven that it was trump followers not Antifa. Why did those comments get buried why weren’t they shown on tv over snd over?

I’m guessing here but I got the impression it really bothered the Republicans in Congress that their party had a President that had to resign because of scandal. And IMO that was one of the reasons they went so hard against Bill Clinton because they believed he could be the Democrats “Nixon”.
And now they’ve got trump and what Raskin is saying is oh so true.
And again it’s about a Republican.

Yes. Jim Jordan and the other Jim, I hope their culpability comes out in these hearings. Remember, Nancy Pelosi refused to accept them as part of the Republican contingent of McCarthy’s committee picks due to their potential witness status as well as their support of Trump’s election fraud accusations. She approved the others but McCarthy said “something to the effect of” forget it we’ll launch our own investigation. keep doggin’ the Jim’s

Brad Parscale’s tweet shown above is particularly damning. What a collection of cowards and self-serving opportunists Trump collected around him. He heard it, he realized how dangerous Trump was, and he said nothing. The only thing that’s going to heal this country is for more of them to come out, say they were wrong, and apologize to the American people. That includes regular folks like this insurrectionist who testified today and then apologized to the police officer. Regular people who believed and spread the big lie need to apologize to all of us for their part in leading this country to the brink of civil war. Those who were involved in criminal activity need to pay their debt to society and stop all this nonsense about those people being “political prisoners.” That won’t happen, of course - I’m pretty convinced at this point that the American experiment is in its death throes. But it’s what should happen.

But here is the list The president's private schedule for Dec. 21, 2020 shows a private meeting with Republican members of Congress," Murphy said. "We know Vice President Pence, chief of staff Mark Meadows and Rudy Giuliani also attended the meeting." She then started naming Republicans currently serving in Congress. "At this point, you may recall testimony given in our earlier hearing by Richard Donoghue who said that the president asked the Department of Justice to say 'that the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen,'" Murphy said. "According to White House visitor logs obtained by the committee, members of Congress present at the White House on Dec. 21 included Congressmen Brian Babin (R-TX), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Andy Harris (R-MD), Jody Hice (R-GA), Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Scott Perry (R-PA).""And Congresswoman-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was also there," she added. www.rawstory.com/republicans-jan-6-hearing/

I swear a lot of people on the Eastern Shore and the bay islands work hard at voting against their own best interests.

Rescheduled to 07/12/2022 1:00 PM (EDT) | 390 Cannon House Office Building, Washington, D.C. | Getting frustrated with how many times it has changed times today. I just fast forwarded through a bunch thinking where is it? Lol. Deleted it from my DVR and set it to record from now. My poor DVR is almost full and 7 hours of this wasn’t going to be good. I may watch live but not sure if I will be able to watch so recording just in case. FYI Multiple channels on YouTube have it recorded so you can watch it later there too.

When this entire thing is done, dusted and in the history books, we will remember that women played a huge and pivotal part in uncovering the conspiracy. I'm convinced that Liz Cheney will follow Trump to the gates of hell to get to the bottom of this. And Cassidy Hutchins opened a door to the inner sanctum so the men would have the courage to walk through. And let's not forget police officer Caroline Edwards who talked of slipping in blood; carnage and chaos. I admire them all.

I really can't handle all the shit that is coming out. It is mindboggling. What is even more mindboggling is that people still support Trump and think he did nothing wrong. Our last president very nearly incited a civil war, but let's just keep on railing about how Joe Biden uses cue cards and teleprompters, just like every other president.

And so it goes... Let us see how fast Meadows shows up to the select committee... Donald Trump has already started to distance himself from the allies who helped his effort to overturn the 2020 election results, and his inner circle has identified Mark Meadows as the likely fall guy.The former president's legal team is already planning strategies around criminal charges against Meadows, the former White House chief of staff, and Trump has begun to distance himself from him and other allies involved in election challenges and the Jan. 6 insurrection, reported Rolling Stone. “Everyone is strategizing around the likelihood that Mark is in a lot of trouble,” said one lawyer close to Trump. “Everyone who knows what they’re doing, anyway.” The House select committee has started looking into Meadows' financial dealings for evidence of legally dubious payments with other Trump advisers seeking to overturn Joe Biden's election win, according to two sources familiar with the matter, and the former president's legal advisers seem to expect they'll find it. “Mark is gonna get pulverized…and it’s really sad,” said one of Trump’s current legal advisers. “Based on talking to [Meadows in the past, it felt like] he doesn’t actually believe any of this [election-theft] stuff, or at least not most of it. He was obviously just trying to perform for Trump, and now he’s maybe screwed himself completely.” Eight sources still in Trump's political orbit or legal defense told Rolling Stone that Meadows was widely loathed by other Trump veterans, who see him as two-faced and blame him failing to control the White House coronavirus outbreak, and the former president's attorneys have gamed out how to protect him from the possibility of criminal charges against Meadows. “I do think criminal prosecutions are possible,” said former Trump lawyer Ty Cobb. “Possible for Trump and Meadows, certainly, and for the others, including lawyers, who engaged fraudulently in formal proceedings or investigations.” www.rawstory.com/mark-meadows-jan-6-2657666992/

That's why Democrats had to nominate another old white guy, to avoid further incensing the Republicans who might be convinced to vote D to get Trump out of office. A "nasty" woman who doesn't know her place, a gay man ... those would have been yet another bridge too far. It's telling that the worst things they can say about Joe are that he occasionally misspeaks or uses notes when speaking. And of course they try to blame him personally for world wide inflation. God forbid we had elected someone other than an old white man - imagine what they'd be saying then!

Yesterday's hearing has opened another for info.. hopefully a good one .. Hours after the House select committee investigating the Jan 6th insurrection completed their Tuesday nationally televised hearing, the former wife of Infowars founder Alex Jones took to Twitter and alerted the committee that she can help with their investigation on the uprising. www.rawstory.com/alex-jones-2657662901/

I was hoping for a fall review, but this could be better!! The House Select Committee Investigating the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol is considering another round of hearings during the August Recess. "New: Jan. 6 committee is considering a 'second series of hearings' sometime towards the end of August, after next week’s prime time finale on Thursday, per a source familiar," Guardian correspondent Hugo Lowell reported. www.rawstory.com/j6-committee-hearings-august/
