I paid way more per set than most of you likely do (Wayfair was my cheapest option). I got 4 settings, and have my eyes on 4 more each of Meadow and Sunflower - which are apparently more per set by about $10 so I'm waiting to see if they lower.... And I LOVE them!!!! Damn you all!

I agree that it would impact my ability to buy a "starter" set of dishes too. Now, it's not so bad for me because I just add a few pieces here and there.

I am seriously contemplating it too. Have always loved them, now that my kids are getting older I am thinking I could live with a 6 place setting to start as I am not a huge entertainer. The price in canada is pretty steep though.

That's one of my favorite colors!
If you don't need the cups and saucers, look at buying them per piece. It was a lot cheaper for me to buy them that way and I got the bowls that I wanted vs what comes in the set.

There is nothing quite like the peas and their ability to enable each other.
Love the colour and every time you use them, you'll be thinking of enablers, I mean peas! 😆

The large disk pitchers is $11. the line is crazy long, but its worth it for the deals I want to go and shop but I am really trying not to, since I'm seriously pressed for space

Of all the dishes I have, Fiesta is not among them. But the colors? I often feel seriously drawn to some of those rich saturated colors.
Enjoy your new dishware!

Offer tastings on those pretty new plates and make them a tax deduction.

Love that color so much. But then again any color of Fiesta makes me so happy. Every day I use a different color mug for my coffee and every day I say mmmm this is my favorite color.

I went for this set because I loved the bowl shape and they had no mugs.

pretty, pretty!
I have my 10 year old "Rainbow Brite" set of colors. The darn things won't break so I can start a new color palette! No chips, cracks, nothing!
These threads make me want to start over with a new set. Enjoy!

I got a raise today, so I told DH that to celebrate I am going to splurge on the new peony Fiestaware...and miraculously, it's arriving today. hahaha

Either that or you had my Dh order it for you, I swear that man's orders are on our doorstep the moment he hits the order button. I order something and it takes so long I forget I ordered anything.

Especially now that the borders are open again LOL That is such a pretty colour. I'd love to start a fiesta collection too but you're right, the price is quite daunting

My nephew works there. What part of Canada? 1 of my DD’s is going to Kingston later this month for a wedding.

If the weren't $55 a set I'd have more! LOL Yeah, that's pretty pricey. I just checked Amazon AU, and I can get a three piece setting (bowl, dinner plate, salad plate) for $79.57. Oh, but I get free shipping from the US with Prime. ETA: But wait! That was for Daffodil. The Turquoise (that I would get) is $96.11 OMG !!!!!!! ETA2: Still, it's better than Cobalt, which is $198.76 for THREE PIECES!

Wait till you try the bowl plates. They’re amazing. Thank you for this! We are eating more big salads for dinner these days and none of our bowls are large enough. DH has resorted to using one of my Chantal medium mixing bowls. Had been looking for some larger bowls and the Fiesta large bistro bowl may just be the thing! Need to go by Macy's and see what they have.

The bowl plate is like a plate with a curved lip on it. You might also like the pasta bowl. That bowl is my go to for pasta, dinner salads, and stir fry.
