I've been buying forest paper lately. I loved the Forest line by Stamperia and Forest Tea Party by P13. We live in a very treed neighborhood and I've seen several very pregnant deer. I know the moms will hide their babies, but I was so hoping to see a cute speckled baby and snap picture. I knew my back yard would be a good place for a momma to hide her baby. Tonight a deer came up to my dogs and wouldn't leave them alone. They were right beside me and neither one was bothered by the deer or even made a noise. She kept following us. My son kind of chased her off when she kept getting too close. When she walked away, we realized she had her babies hidden in two different spots. She took one of them to the other side of the house and then I quickly snapped this picture. Now to decide which line to use.

What a cutie! 😍 It'll make for an adorable page no matter which paper you use...

What a beautiful picture! Maybe use a softer, more muted forest-y paper? It will look amazing because the photo is remarkable.

Great photo! I think I would agree about using a muted background paper - maybe a soft green? or ivory with a few wispy ferns around the edges? You know you'll have to share a photo of the finished LO! (pea rules, LOL)

Well if you know me a little you know I would use the paper that most closely matches the photo to make the photo look like part of the paper.

I love outdoor lines, so having the right paper won't be a problem. I just hope I can make this a 5 x 7.

What a pretty baby. And what a clever mama to herd you away from her little ones.
I think I would be tempted to fussy cut one of those P-13 fawn images and use it in a cluster.with some rocks and ferns, then triple mat the photo and put it on a muted woodsy background.
I hope you show us how your page turns out.
