Well, I told you about motifs that made me rage. (I'm shaking my fist at you, fish skeletons!) Now let's look at motifs that are your weakness.
I love poinsettias. 99% of the time, if it has a poinsettia on it, I'll buy it. A lot of Christmas paper does not do it for me, but a poinsettia? I have to have it. I can't pass up a goat. One of my best friends is obsessed with goats and it just doesn't seem right to scrap him without adding a goat. I can't find enough goats. Turtles are hard to pass up. I live in an area that has turtle in its name, so they sneak on a lot of pages. Besides that, I just love turtles and tortoises. How can you not like a turtle? Deer. Oh my gosh, I love a deer. They are so good for my nature pages and my Christmas pages. I have a deer hole punch that gets a workout. Ferns. Again, I do a lot of nature walks. So very, very pretty. I don't think I've ever passed up a paper that has ferns.
What motifs are your weakness?

What motifs are your weakness? Beach stuff. I have enough Simple Stories Vintage Costal to wallpaper my bedroom. Palm trees, (I have been wanting a palm tree tattoo forever, but am too scared of how much it hurts, I am a giant baby) I will buy all the palm tree stuff, washi, etc. Also evergreen trees. Woodsy stuff. Fall trees with bare branches. So I guess trees.

Leaves of all kinds and colors!
I also have a fondness for designs that include dishes resembling vintage Pyrex or Cathrineholm. Obscure, but they do pop up now and again.

I am UTTERLY WEAK for thick color block stripes. I'll always buy the big striped paper in a collection even if I don't get anything else.
oh wait that isn't really a motif is it? idk. I do love rainbows and will ride that rainbow train until it dies.

Well, I told you about motifs that made me rage. (I'm shaking my fist at you, fish skeletons!) Now let's look at motifs that are your weakness. I, too, love poinsettias. Just picked up my SB Glimmer Foil poinsettia plates and dies. Looking forward to playing with them.
I love papers with houses on them. Actually ANYthing with houses: wood veneer, stickers, dies, stamps... I think a house icon represents home and love and safety. There were a couple of plates/dies with houses on them in that last SB order, too.
Everyone knows I love gnomes. Don't know why. Maybe it is from so much time when growing up in a Norwegian family's home, and gnomes were everywhere. Maybe it's cuz their beards remind me of my ds's. Don't know why. Just love gnomes. Am waiting for my Karen Burnistan class kit with pop up gnomes, and just ordered some stamps and dies from Jaded Blossom for a set that came back into stock after I missed the first round in January.
And I am loving that so many lines feature pages of stars--Vicki Boutin, Cocoa Vanilla, Simple Stories. They come in all colours and work beautifully with all my dgk photos.
Not a goat lover, but would snap up anything I saw featuring donkeys or geese...

Stars. I adore stars and usually buy extra sheets of star paper. Just looking at star paper makes me happy.
For Christmas paper, give me holly and berries. I don’t know how many sheets of VB’s holly paper I bough but it still wasn’t enough. I like candy canes and peppermints too.

Any bicycle that doesn’t have wheel fenders or baskets with flowers. Bike racers in my family. I have a bike stamp that I cut the basket off lol Also I don’t need any more but I love a camera motif. I don’t even use them that often but I’m drawn to them for sure.

Rainbows are my huge weakness. I also have a hard time passing up a pp that is a starry sky. I too adore pointsettias! Outdoor pages: Suns and clouds, both die cuts and papers. I like sunglasses. Butterflies grab my attention. Birds. I loved the mushrooms in Vicki B's collections - I found them quirky but generic enough. Leaves are beautiful. I love cute animals of all types but am picky because I prefer my motifs to at least resemble the topic of my page Indoor pages: flowers, hearts, stars (are they even a motif, or are they as generic as polkadot or stripe?) CAMERAS get me, even after all these years.

Everyone knows I love gnomes. Don't know why. Maybe it is from so much time when growing up in a Norwegian family's home, and gnomes were everywhere. I have a fondness for them too. Now my daughter all of the sudden has gotten into them and bought a bunch for different holidays. Also I don’t need any more but I love a camera motif. I don’t even use them that often but I’m drawn to them for sure I'm that way with mason jars. There's so many ways to fill them up with different themes.
I have lots of weaknesses. Stars; like the star paper pads from M's and HL that have the purple and silver galaxy effect. Butterflies, sloths, balls, rubber ducks, cute animals, and outdoor themed paper. Retro paper that has that mid century 1950's vibe. Cannot get enough! I need to start collecting homes.
Now the extent to which I use a lot of these items.....

For me, when buying a kit I tend to look at the colours and papers first, and the elements are just a bonus. I love flowers, and for so many years the flowers in digital kits were all 3D looking. It took a while for designers to make flower and bouquet "stickers". I'm still really drawn to flower stickers in kits. That's my #1 embellishment love. I'm also drawn to beach and summer themed elements. And I like word art stickers and chipboard or veneer words. Other things that I can't pass up are banners, rosettes, colour wheels, tags especially with string/bows, vellum elements/words, and food/brunch related elements. Turtles are hard to pass up. I live in an area that has turtle in its name, so they sneak on a lot of pages. Besides that, I just love turtles and tortoises. How can you not like a turtle? Turtles are so cute! I recently bought a kit that I passed up the first time I saw it. I loved the colours, but it had turtles on it, and I couldn't imagine when I would ever need/want to scrap using turtles! Then a few months later when the kit was half price, I bought it. Only two of the 16 patterned papers had turtles on them. Poco a Poco

* beach paper (ocean/sky/sand colors, sand texture, wispy dune grass, shells...) * narrow or medium stripes in pretty coordinating colors (or seasonal colors) * maps * ferns or other similar greenery, especially if it's around a border or in a frame/wreath * wood-grain textured paper, especially in washed-out hues or beachy colors - if it looks like it belongs to the deck of a beach house, I want it
I'm sure there are others.
ETA: Oh!! and birds - I'm a total sucker for birds!!

Hearts, especially a skinner heart and/or wonky heart. I can't resist unless I really don't like the colors for some reason. If there's a sheet of puffy hearts, I'm definitely buying. I'm not sure I've ever made a layout that doesn't at least have one tiny heart somewhere.

I do love rainbows and will ride that rainbow train until it dies. Rainbows will ALWAYS have my heart. Cute foods with smiling faces get me everytime, I also can not pass up on a cupcake anything. Coffee, My husband is in the industry and so much of my life is based around coffee adventures and moments. Hearts and stars, they are so easily used on all kinds of layouts. Camping Cassette tapes

My favorite motifs are linear/symmetrical/not wonky & non-themed: - Line (creates stripe, plaid, grid, etc. patterns) - Dot/circle (especially small: e.g. Bazzill Dotted Swiss cardstock) - Sparkle/asterisk/star - Heart (on every layout)

I don't know if it's considered a motif.....
I love bigger sized words. Especially black, bright colors, primary colors.... printed on clear stickers. I love faux brick paper and colored wood planks paper.

...I love faux brick paper and colored wood planks paper. I quickly perused the American Crafts collections on pre-order at ACOT earlier & saw a multi-colored wood planks paper, PE Garden Shoppe - Paper 4. HTH.

I know many others are over all the butterflies, but I can't help myself with the butterflies! I'm actually to the point of telling myself, No, you Don't need more butterfly paper! LOL! I also love a good map paper, and anything wood. Woodgrain, wood planks, bark, anything. Hearts and cameras also catch my eye almost everytime.

Dachshunds. My husband and I adopted two doxies in our first years of marriage and they were our 1000% our first babies. We have collected a lot of dachshund things over the years.
Many Halloween icons - I do love Halloween, but also I feel Halloween is the ultimate kid holiday. I have nothing but joyous memories of Halloween. It all makes me so happy.
Outdoor nature: parks, forests, and yes, camping! (Not beach stuff)

For awhile I bought anything fleur de lis, medieval looking, crowns, etc because I had tons of photos. I still pickup the odd thing here and there.
Bricks and wood. Throw some rocks in there too. I love it even more distressed.
I like anything with family words like cousins, mom, dad, sister etc.
I like Victorian, think Graphic 45, prima, stamperia. Again I have lots of photos
Books, storybooks, once upon a time anything like that
Gaming and arcades, amusement parks, carousels, playgrounds.
Art like Vicki Boutin, art supplies, colors, paint stripes
Roller or ice skating anything more of a theme than motif but still.

Things from my childhood: roller skates, cassette tapes and records, old video game stuff, rainbows (Rainbow Brite), books.
And things that remind me of my grandma: hummingbirds, quilts (especially hexagons), yellow flowers, butterflies...
Paper with text (like a book page or dictionary).

I thought of a couple more: Mushrooms, especially realistic looking ones. I love my forest walks. Records, cassettes, guitars, music notes, etc.- I scrap a lot of music stuff Big cats- I adore them. I especially love tigers and jaguars but I pretty much like anything. Beer- a lot of my social life involves breweries. I never have enough beer paper and embellishments. When my nephew was in band, clarinets. I think I have every clarinet ever made for scrapbooking.
