Would you like some comaraderie, inspiration, and fun? Hop on over to the Challenges board and Sign up for Q-3! For those of you who have played, you know the drill. Just get over to the sign up thread and join a team! Don't forget that THIS quarter includes SKETCHTEMBER! For those who have not yet joined a team, a bit of info: When you sign up for a team, you get to set challenges, then earn points for your team by meeting those challenges set by yourself and others, or by working on &/or completing any crafty project. You chat with your team about your scrappy goals, successes, and roadblocks. And they provide encouragement, cheer you on, and may post commiseration and problem solving and slump busting ideas.
You even earn bonus points for every dozen cards you create, every time you use the Sheetload of Cards formula.
We would really like to see you part of a team. Come on! Join us!

I have commitment issues. I'd rather be a freelancer. Ok before I flat out say no, please explain. Can I make any card I want without having to follow challenges set by others? grammadee or any one else? I am thinking about iNational SB day where Miss super star Linda posted tons of layouts that did not seem to match all the challenges. Can I do that in the Q3 event? That is what it reads like to me but I want to be sure.

Yes, you can make anything you want. 1 card is 10 points , and than you can get more points if you incorporate some set challenges, but that's not necessary. You get points for shopping or not shopping, for crafting, for organizing. If you have a project you want to work on you can set a challenge for that. I usually set a challenge for donating cards in the months that I do that...I know I'm sneaky 😊. I'm going to recycle some cards in the coming months so I will set a challenge for that. I think 1 layout is 20 points.

You can go completely freelance, FurryP . Every card you finish earns a point. If you share it you get another point. Then depending on card size you can claim flat easy easy points per card. If you use lots of techniques or products and they fit the challenges you may choose to score your cards that way, but it is your choice. Or create cards in sets of 12 to get bonus points for the Twelve card challenge. No need to meet any specific challenges. They are just there to get you inspired &/or motivated. And if you have a goal in mind you can set THAT as a challenge, be spurred to meet it, and earn points along the way.
