I really like the stamps and dies - the rest? there are individual pieces I like. My first glimpse of it on their blog was the layout and that made me think it would be too kiddy/cutesy for me but there are a lot pieces and B-sides I like

This is a little different for them and I think that's awesome! I don't really have a use for most of it though. I do like the cute little sea animals, and I may pick up the ephemera just for those! LOL!

I love the ephemera for kid pages! Maybe even a few of the papers too.

While the kawaii illustrations are adorable & the plaid, dots, stripe, & diagonal stripe papers usable, I already have similar classic patterns in my inventory. Nothing from this collection is added to my wish list. TFS.

The rational part of my brain knows I don't need any of this as it generally doesn't fit my style, but there is still a part of me that is charmed by their cute little critters and smiley faces.

Good line. I think they've done a nice job with making the colours just a little different from the other summer lines, and they've tried to make the ephemera generic, but it still feels very ocean/tropics overall which I really don't need.

Maybe it is the little houses? To me they look like the beach homes I saw in NZ. They also remind me of those I saw along the coast of Sweden and have seen them on P-13 papers. Are Aussie beach houses like this?

Okay, I don't generally buy Doodlebug because it is not my style but I'm kind of in love with this collection.
I find their papers hard to work with because of the tiny, very busy, all over patterns but I absolutely must have that crab and seagull paper.
The embellishments are also a win- the animals are so cute and I love all of the cocktails. Yep, I need to set some money aside for this one. It will be great for my little nephews at the beach photos.

Chinagirl828 I feel the same way! I don't usually scrapbook with cutesy products but I am utterly charmed by this collection. We live in a sub-tropical/coastal location and I have a TON of beach/summer/tropical pics to scrap and I will definitely pick up bits and pieces from this collection.

I think it’s ridiculously cute, but I have no use for it. I might grab that flamingo paper and sunshine paper anyway though. 💖

I really like the food at the park stamp set. I don't have any need for beach themed items, but I do like some of the more generic shape sprinkles.

Yes, we have the bathing boxes on Brighton beach which is about 15 mins from where I live. Oh, I am so envious! I watched a design show on Netflix. One of the episodes was them redesigning the bathing boxes. It was a reality show to pick the best designer. ETA: oops, that was a UK show.

I look at this and see delightful cards for senior citizens! so many of them move to warm places. I think they'd like the tropical beachy themes and the kitsch (flamingo) colors. Here comes the sun and Girls just wanna have sun might work for sentiments but I would make this collection into soft sunny hello cards. I love the little beach houses. I'm trying to think of a good beach house related pun or sentiment to justify buying this.

I like the colorful houses and the little critters, but I don't buy Doodlebug stuff because it tends to be too cutesy for my taste.

I usually can't resist Doodlebug but this doesn't appeal to me that much. Too tropical for me. We often go to the lake, so no palm trees or crabs or shells. I bought some of the SS summer line this year so don't need much more.

This is really cute but I have no use for it. Doodlebug is like that for me, I appreciate it but I just don't buy it.

Too much pink for a beach theme—at least for me.

When I saw that Doodlebug was doing a beach line I was certain I would not need anything from it as I have so many beach and summer lines already but I do really like this collection. I like the toned down colours in this line and I love Doodlebug for the bright bubblegum colours they use. I also really like that this collection feels a bit more B side heavy, while I love kawaii cartoony smiley faced animals and coffee cups sometimes those papers just don't work on a layout, this is a bit more user friendly.

One of the episodes was them redesigning the bathing boxes. It was a reality show to pick the best designer. The bathing boxes on Brighton Beach will set you back about $330,000 - probably more now. And if you want one in Portsea, you'll need to fork out over $600,000. That's for something that is essentially just a little shed with no plumbing and no electricity! My ex-SIL owns one at Rosebud. I can't remember how much she paid for it 20+ years ago, but suffice to say it was a very good investment! Anyway, I digress....... I love the colours of this new collection. Even though I already have several summer kits in the same colours, I would probably buy it if it were a digital kit. Because, why not?! I'll give the too-cutesy smiley sun and animals a miss though.

I have already informed my husband that this collection is a need, not a want. 😊 Living in Florida, this will be a perfect addition to my stash. I am loving the color scheme, it is very different for Doodlebug.

Ryann, thanks for showing us this. As several above have mentioned, a lot of Doodlebug in the past has been a little too cute and hard to use for me. But this collection is adorable and I see several pieces that I'll have to order. And Joblackford, you're right: what beautiful, fun cards you could make with this.

I think it's very cute. I love the starfish and crab/seagull papers. The beach houses look directly lifted from the Photoplay Monterey Bay line... photoplaypaper.com/montereybay/

The first time I knew there were such a thing was when I was watching Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. I'm obsessed with that show. The boxes look so cool.
