I will do it every now and then, but in general I avoid it.

It's what I do. In my Gallery www.flickr.com/photos/22190803@N07/ the three dolls ATC's were each fussy cut with a craft knife, 120 times each, from a package of napkins. The stand up Santa ATC was 1 of 85 I made to send in my Christmas cards.

I don’t mind it now and then if I’m not in an impatient mood. I’d rather fussy cut than stitch or color in images.

I used to really like fussy cutting but in the last several years I rarely do it. I can usually find a die cut or other embellishment that will give me the same effect for less effort.

I will fussy cut if there is absolutely no other way to get the look I want... This is me. Usually I have something that will give me the look that I want, but if I cannot find anything else, I will fussy cut something.

I do love to fussy cut however its something I like doing all at once, I dislike it when I have to stop halfway through a project to do a whole heap of cutting. Most of the Mintay and lemoncraft pages that I have bought I take to hospital appointments and camping trips and I just sit there and cut out a whole page at once, I find it super relaxing.

I have a hard time with the x-acto knife , but sometimes its necessary to cut out a piecebin the middle of the image. I'm not crazy about it , but I don’t hate it either. I do have a ScanNCut when I want to cut a lot of images from a pp. I have to figure it out how to use the machine to cut the white border off of some ephemeras.

I enjoy fussy cutting. Especially floral designs. It’s like having lots of die cuts for $1. Sometimes I find something to fussy cut while the tv is on and it’s relaxing to me.

I don't mind doing it although I typically cut as I need it. I am trying to get better at using actual embellishments rather than fussy cutting simply because I have more than enough to choose from and while fussy cutting is economical, I don't particularly feel that I need to ration my stash.

I don't mind it. But, I would not buy an entire sheet of embellishments that needed to be cut out myself.
I most often fussy cut to reduce the size of the white border on embellishements. I don't like the look of a wide border, but do like a little contrast.

I hate the term fussy cutting. I really don't know why though. Don't like doing it either.

Not if I can avoid it... There's a reason ephemera packs are my favourite embellishment. (But sure, when the mood strikes, I can do it for a solid 15-20 minutes without moaning.)

It annoys me on principle because when I use to scrap years ago I don’t think there was a word for it- it was just cutting. Then when I returned to the scrapbook world last year I saw the phrase “fussy cut” and instantly hated it. 😂 At first I thought it was just a couple people using a stupid term and then I realized that was like the real name of it now. I would avoid like the plague because cutting detailed things is not my favorite. I am left handed but taught myself to use right handed scissors instead because as a kid I hated trying to find the left handed scissors and I hated those dumb green handles. Lol

I don't mind it, but I have perfectionist tendencies, so unless an image has clean lines and isn't too detailed, I find that I'm not happy with the finished product.

I do fussy cutting when it will add a lot to my layout or card, but I don’t enjoy the process of fussy cutting by hand (even though I fussy cut well).

I am left handed but taught myself to use right handed scissors instead because as a kid I hated trying to find the left handed scissors and I hated those dumb green handles. This is also a good point. I've gotten so used to using right handed scissors but it means I end up holding the paper and the blades of the scissors on some very strange angles while I'm fussy cutting.

I often fussy cut to slip a photo behind part of patterned paper. I don't mind doing it but many times I am not all that precise. I cut just enough to accomplish what I am trying to go for.

Fussy cussing - I like the end result and don't mind a little bit of cutting. At first it annoyed me, but then I realized how much it can add to a layout. It really is an economical way to get fun accents.

My vision is getting worse, which makes fussy cutting harder for me. BUT I do still like to do it on occasion. But now, if I think I can create an embellishment without fussy cutting, I'll try that first.

I find it relaxing and because I always have to be doing something with my hands while watching tv or road trips it's perfect for feeling productive. I really like how quickly pages come together because I have embellishments ready to go.

Not for me. I have tried, even as 1 week ago and I just don't enjoy it. I also never like the end result because it isn't perfect.

I used to avoid it like the plague, but now I'll do it if it will make a good difference to my project. I prefer to use dies, but they're not always available.

Yes! I enjoy it but wish I was better at it. My scrapbooking friends think I’m crazy for doing it but then I hand sew on layouts too!

I rarely do it because my default is to think it takes too long, and also because I rarely do it I tend to even forget about the technique. But when I DO end up doing it I end up pleased with the result.

I don't mind fussy cutting. I used to enjoy it as a card maker, but as a scrapbooker I don't like it quite as much. I think it's because the amount needed is usually so much more!

Not a fan of fussy cutting. I'll do it if I have to. I usually won't purchase a product, if it means I have to fussy cut it. There's way to many other products available for purchase, that don't have to be fussy cut. When and if I do purchase something that has to be fussy cut, I really have to love love love it. Ditto.

I don't enjoy it. Plus my end result looks jagged, even using nice scissors.
