I had a great time shopping with them last year and got my stuff in a timely manner.
Had a great experience the other day and saved tons and have already been getting parts of my order (and still have plenty of time.)
Went to use my $60 Kohl's cash tonight, plus their 20% cyberMonday code, plus free shipping if you spend $25 (still haven't figured out how to use those other points they have.) I even remembered to go through Ebates, for 10% back, though that wasn't that much in the end.
After 3 hours of being signed in, and actively shopping, my shopping cart disappeared. POOF! Gone. And I was almost done. I was sooooooo mad! I couldn't even remember exactly what I had, but had the general idea. Some of it was out of stock by now. Okay, whatever. I loaded up again. Applied the 20% code. Then my Kohl's cash. Oops, now I didn't have enough for free shipping! I'm 10.71 short, so I go find something to bring it up high enough.
I ended up spending about $27 total.
It has been a very long time since I used Kohl's cash. I just don't go there to shop. But am I remembering wrong that it is used as a form of payment? So the discounts should come off first, and then the Kohl's cash? Does it work that way in the store but not online?
It doesn't really matter now. I'm not going to fight it and going to the store wasn't really an option for me (still on crutches, not getting out much). I still got some great deals, and didn't get anything that I didn't need to buy except for the scented wax bricks for my Scentsy warmer (that's what got me over the last little bit for free shipping), and at least I will use those.

On the back of the kohl's cash it says the order that it is applied. The coupons say it as well.

Kohls cash is used like a discount. It does not apply toward the free shipping. I placed an order tonight, but I was well over the $25 minimum for free shipping even after the 20% discount and my Kohls cash.

Thanks for the responses about the Kohl's cash. I'm still not happy about having to redo my whole cart. I forgot to mention that, even though it showed that I was signed in, when I went to check-out it made me sign-in again and then everything I had previously put in the cart was there! So then I had to clear out the excess.
Oh well. Now I know!

I was surprised when I placed my order too, I thought the kohls cash would be like a form of payment (admittedly I did not read the details- I read "cash" and assume it's going to be applied like...well, cash.) I went back and forth trying to figure out the best way to do it for far too long before I just said screw it and paid shipping.
I wouldnt mind as much if I didn't find their website such a PITA to use In the first place- it is buggy and slow for me every single time and fussing around with coupons/codes/shipping minimums just makes the process even longer. Eventually I will stick to the promise I keep making to myself to stop shopping there and save myself the frustration!

I'm glad you got your stuff in a timely manner. It took 3 weeks for me to get a pair of tennis shoes I ordered last year. I won't use them online again.

Doesn't help you NOW, but for you and others shopping after reading this, it may help.

Doesn't help you NOW, but for you and others shopping after reading this, it may help. The same thing happened to me. I closed the site and then logged back in an the cart was there. I did have 2 things cancelled off an order I placed on Friday. They let me know within a day and let me keep the Kohls cash I had earned. Luckily, the items were for me and not gifts, so I wasn't too concerned. |

Other than the 2 items that were cancelled from my order within 24 hours, everything else has shipped very fast this year. I ordered things last Monday and received them on Tuesday. Other than their site being a pain in the neck, I think that they must have listened to the long shipping time criticism and made some changes. |

Everything I ordered on Wednesday from them has arrived. I'm somewhat shocked at how quickly it arrived - including a huge bag full of 6 throws.

This happened to me at Joann's website this weekend. I would have ordered a lot more, but I only had the patience to scroll through the dies a second time about half way.
