And let us adore finish you... (whoa, that sounds way darker than I intended ) Got a December Daily that still needs working on? Christmas photos missing their LOs? Cards to make in advance? This is your place to kick some Christmas/Hanukkah/Yule buttocks and get it done! All through July, join the chatting, creating, cheering on, making lists of what to buy from the new releases and exchanging on all things December. Make your presence known and share: 1. Which Christmassy projects you wish to work on this July 2. What your actual goals are (number of LOs, specific DD to finish, number of cards to make, etc.) 3. What your incentives are to reach these goals (pre-ordering from a new Christmas line, upping your December Daily budget for this year, etc.) Oh, and welcome... Here we don't judge or view unfinished December projects in a negative light. They're just an opportunity to have some extra crafty fun in the summer (or winter for our down-under Peas).

1. Finish DD 21. There is one missing page & I found it, but didn't put it in the album. Look over the album for gaps. I'm pretty sure it's 98 % done.
2. Make 22 Christmas cards. Which means, first play around with my stamps and emboss and put some time into experimenting. And then when I make the cards, use up some of my Christmas stash, which isn't very big. I decided I was not really a DD person, so I am going to do October Daily instead in 22.

I want to start and finish DD 2021. Itās not unlike me to wait this long to do it. My only problem is Iām going to be gone the first 11 days of July.

I have an almost un-started 2021 JYC photobook to build. I think I've done a couple of basic pages with holiday movies and that's it. I do have a list of some of the stories I wanted to include but I wasn't feeling at all inspired in December or January.
I should also do some Christmas card upcycling for donations but more likely I'll use some new to me papers and do some Sheetload cards instead. Either way my first task is cutting and scoring a whole big bunch of card bases.

I know I have unfinished Christmases...2021 for one- I did my Dec Daily but not the handful of regular layouts yet. Perfect timing for those LOs then! Congrats on finishing your DD. 'Tis always a big beast of a project that deserves praise. Make 22 Christmas cards. Which means, first play around with my stamps and emboss and put some time into experimenting. Big pile of cards! And loads of experimenting in the process... Can't wait to see how they turn out. I want to start and finish DD 2021. Itās not unlike me to wait this long to do it. My only problem is Iām going to be gone the first 11 days of July. Hey hey, that leaves 20 July days to play! Plenty enough to get started and make a big dent. Looking forward to having you join in on the fun when you return home from your travels. I have an almost un-started 2021 JYC photobook to build. I think I've done a couple of basic pages with holiday movies and that's it. I do have a list of some of the stories I wanted to include but I wasn't feeling at all inspired in December or January. Are you going super minimalist or using digital products? Excited to see how your new Christmas cards come out. Your Christmas stash is nearly gone, right? Did you buy new things already?

I already have 12 pop-up Christmas cards started just waiting for my SB.com order to get here to finish them. Iām only going to make a few more regular cards with a new stencil I bought. I went a little Christmas card crazy last year so I have a nice stash to dig into if I need more.

Tempting, and you rock sleepingbooty, thanks for pumping up the spirit and mojo around this place! I'm just really worried that I'll sign up and then fail to show up. I am 4 years behind on my DD. I would love to start Christmas cards, but first I need to make a bunch of blank cards to gift to friends. OK, wait, a bunch of blank cards should CERTAINLY include Christmas cards, right??? OK: my goals 1. organize DD 2018 including paper choices made into a kit 2. 4 Christmas layouts from any year 3. make 10 Christmas cards to give away as gifts.

Your Christmas stash is nearly gone, right? Did you buy new things already? I have some IACB and FYC digitals to sprinkle in but probably pretty minimalist. I got a couple of 6x6 pads for cardmaking and then MichyM shared some Christmas stash with me so I'm well stocked now! I'm looking forward to digging in and seeing what I have to work with now that I've finished a big USA-patriotic card drive project and finished filling a box for Bring Smiles to Seniors.

I did a dozen different cards with the June sheetload. I'll post them all soon . I enjoy doing these PP cards when I'm feeling uninspired to do something "fancy." What I REALLY need to do is to stop getting sucked into buying patterned paper. #Iamaneasymark Off to check out your link...

I have a handful of Christmas pages to complete in my 2010 album, and possibly one or two in last years PL. I've been working on them as the inspiration strikes, but I'll join in with the goal of getting them all finished during July.

Best of both worlds for you, joblackford ! You get to keep it digital and minimalist for your documenting but go all out with paper and embellishments (and Pea-per exchanges, yay) for your cards. I already have 12 pop-up Christmas cards started just waiting for my SB.com order to get here to finish them. Oooh, those pop-up cards sound cool. I am admirative of people with skills for more complex interactive elements. Would love to see how they look when you finish them! Eh, what's four years in a lifetime? And yes, yes, yes, blank cards should totally include some Christmas-themed ones. Duh! Don't worry about failing to show up: you do whatever you can through July. This is meant to be fun, not an extra burden. Love your goals. They are achievable and varied in nature. You got this! What I REALLY need to do is to stop getting sucked into buying patterned paper. #Iamaneasymark An easy mark, maybe, but one with a big heart! #sharingiscaring You're already embodying the Christmas spirit by sending some goodies to a fellow Pea... I have a handful of Christmas pages to complete in my 2010 album, and possibly one or two in last years PL. I've been working on them as the inspiration strikes, but I'll join in with the goal of getting them all finished during July. Yay! And you get to craft Christmas when it's winter... (not that it will make any sense with your summery photos but at least you got the "baby, it's cold outside" memo *throws snowflake die-cuts around*)

1. Which Christmassy projects you wish to work on this July? Cards! I have 20 made so far.
2. What your actual goals are (number of LOs, specific DD to finish, number of cards to make, etc.) I would like to make another 20 cards. My goal is to be done with 100 cards by the end of October. I hope to make more but that will depend on surgeries and recovery time as well as DH having almost the entire month of July off, so we will be going out doing things as a family.
3. What your incentives are to reach these goals (pre-ordering from a new Christmas line, upping your December Daily budget for this year, etc.) I have a goal of using up the My Minds Eyes clearance paper items I bought a few months ago. I have a few 12x12 papers left, a few 6x8 papers left and stickers left.

Booty, oh, how I love you! I need Christmas in July so bad!!
1. Which Christmassy projects you wish to work on this July
2021 December Daily. I am slow, but I got a good start on this. All photos and card in pockets, I think I'm working on Day 8, which is pretty good for me.
2. What your actual goals are (number of LOs, specific DD to finish, number of cards to make, etc.)
My goal (a lofty one) is to complete December Daily by the end of the month. I can do it!!!! (I keep telling myself.)
3. What your incentives are to reach these goals (pre-ordering from a new Christmas line, upping your December Daily budget for this year, etc.)
I will indulge in the AE Advent Calendar AND buy a Lego Advent Calendar this year if I achieve this goal. Otherwise, just the Lego one.

It's been crazy hot here this weekend so I've been making Christmas cards with Sheetload sketches. I wish I could say it makes me feel cooler but it doesn't. I'm very very hot. But I've almost used up two of the partial 6x6 pads that I was gifted recently.

I would like to make another 20 cards. My goal is to be done with 100 cards by the end of October. Oooh, that's a great plan. š Things go crazy very quickly once the final 2 months of the year hit, especially for Americans who have Thanksgiving as well. Love that you set a benchmark with a "possibly more" option. Booty, oh, how I love you! And I love you! š My goal (a lofty one) is to complete December Daily by the end of the month. I can do it!!!! (I keep telling myself.) Actually, YES, you can do it. July has 5 weekends to get some extra crafty time in. It's totally doable. you got this, you got this, you got this! š£ *breaks out the glowsticks* I will indulge in the AE Advent Calendar AND buy a Lego Advent Calendar this year if I achieve this goal. Otherwise, just the Lego one. Nice! That is some serious motivation. Especially with the first sneaks for DD coming in early August. Power through July and get rewarded! It's been crazy hot here this weekend so I've been making Christmas cards with Sheetload sketches. I wish I could say it makes me feel cooler but it doesn't. I'm very very hot. But I've almost used up two of the partial 6x6 pads that I was gifted recently. I wish I could send you a cool breeze to help but we're having warm weather as well. And crafting with the electric fan on is not exactly ideal (I found a few PL cards that flew under the sofa last week). But kudos to you for using up so much product already. What paper hoard? joblackford doesn't do hoards, she just does cards! š

A good thing about using gifted paper that I like but don't love is not being afraid to start cutting it up. The sketches help with that too. I might add stamping a bunch of general holiday sentiments on cardstock scraps to my Christmas in July goals. Batch work! I'm also going to try planning ahead for my JYC photobook like ShannanM did for her WITL. Working smarter at the beginning to save time and energy in the long run.

Happy July 1st!
How is everyone? How is the Christmassy prepping/creating going? I wish I could say I'm off to a good start but... I cannot for the life of me find my DD 2021 mini album that needs finishing! I'm off work this afternoon and thought I'd get started on this project and erm, I'm a little embarrassed to admit publicly that I have no idea where my DD is. Not a clue. It's not like I have a big home where there are many places for it to hide either... Help!
US Peas, Hallmark is doing a fan favourites Christmas marathon for 4 days starting today:

Christmas Lego pics? I have an ongoing Christmas album where I try to have at least one photo of my kids each year. I need to throw some more personal things in there. Love ongoing albums. They are such a relaxed and flexible approach to documenting special recurring celebrations/chapters in life. Hope to hear how it all turns out for you! I have found my 2021 DD. It's a mini so it was easier to "lose". Apparently, I had already set it aside for Christmas in July sometime in spring and totally forgot I did that. Currently typing out some journaling and getting ready to print out photos. I was looking at notes I took during the month and noticed I'd have to journal about the best 2021 Countdown to Christmas Hallmark movie. So, obviously, I went to find it and now I'm watching An Unexpected Christmas in the middle of a hot summer afternoon.
