I really enjoy all the new scrapbook line release threads and thought it would be nice to have threads when stamp companies do their releases. I’m pretty limited on stamp companies that I follow. I mostly buy from Lawn Fawn, The Stamp Market, Concord and 9th and just recently Sunny Studio Stamps, but anyone please feel free to start a thread for any company. I would love to be enabled into some new companies and I love to see all the inspiration.
The Stamp Market just had a new release today. So I am going to start a thread for it.
Thoughts?

Go for it! I can’t keep up with all the new releases so I’m always glad to see a reminder.

The scrapbook new release threads are nice but they don’t help us stampers/ card makers so this is a great idea. Here’s the June release from Pink Fresh

Super detailed cards. I really liked the Seed Catalog Background. Not sure if that is new or not. I don’t know anything about this company, so I am going to explore. The bees are a bit too realistic for me, but I do love all things honey. My grandfather hived bees when I was a kid and I remember nothing being better than fresh honey.

Here’s the June release from Pink Fresh I watched the video finally and like the three background dies. I keep seeing stencils being released by different companies. It seems they are trending away from layered stamps or copic coloring and providing layered stencils to achieve a similar look. I’m sure it is less expensive to create stencils. I do like the look.

The Greetery is a fairly new company...maybe 3 years in existence. Betsy Veldman is the owner. She was a design team member at PaperTrey Ink (PTI) and then gradually began designing her own stamp line and kits under the PTI umbrella. My honest opinion is that Betsty kept that company rolling in the dough with her brilliant designs. PTI has a long soap opera story but in 2018ish they cut all their design team members. Betsy took a bit of a break and then unveiled The Greetery. Her stamps and dies are quality and she she thinks of every little detail. I believe it's just Betsy and her husband that run the company. I cannot say enough good things about her, her designs or her company. Definitely give them a shop. PS, I'm not affiliated in with them in any shape just a customer.

Oh I like this! As a newly returned stamper and card maker, this will come in handy for me.

The Greetery's new releases were all over my IG this morning. Holy smokes, there were some gorgeous cards shared! Oh, but to have an unlimited budget It made me wonder, how much time do you (a general you) spend per card for a "fancy" card? With the die cutting and inking and this-ing and that-ing, I can easily spend an hour (or more) on a card. I'm new-ish and slow. I'll often make a half dozen of a card design just to make it feel more "worthwhile." Some of the cards shared this morning looked like they took even longer than that!

I also need to remind myself to just enjoy the time spent.

I don't make many cards that take a long time unless it's for a special person and I have a very particular idea I want to go with. And even then it takes me all afternoon or pockets of time over multiple days because that kind of cardmaking is slow and hard work for me (decisions... the bane of my existence). I tend to have more fun making batches of cards but that might also be because I'm not very good at task switching so I don't really like to cut some stuff then blend some stuff then emboss then die cut then stamp, etc etc. I think I work better when I can batch my tasks. So anyway, I can spend all afternoon making one card or 4 cards or 21 very simple cards, lol. Just depends on the mood and the purpose.

Oh, and a heads-up that GinaK is having a 4th of July weekend sale starting Friday (I believe) that she said will be the best sale of the year besides Black Friday and there will be some things restocked before then. I haven't bought directly from her but there are a couple of items I'm tempted by that I might pick up if the sale is good.

Oooooooo. This thread is scary for me. I am trying really hard not to buy any stamps for a while. I have too many I haven;t used yet. I like all the pretty stuff!

Clearly Besotted has a monthly release. Michelle Short with the Card Grotto does great release videos for them.
Cards and Coffee Time does a nice job of previewing the Spellbinders new releases.
I’m a slow card maker. An hour a card doesn’t sound out of line.

I can make a card fairly quickly, it’s all the decisions that have to be made first that takes me forever. I have eight pop-up card bases done and I’ve changed my mind at least a half dozen times as to what’s going to be popping up on those cards.

I like the idea of a new release thread, this is great. I find with many stamp companies having monthly releases that the time just flies by. It's hard to keep up.
I love The Stamp Market and their latest release is really pretty, but I wish they had more of a design team. I noticed that this month there are actually 3 guest designers that Amy (the owner) tagged in an Insta hop - this is the first time I've seen her use any other designer than just herself. It was nice to see but two of the projects were very similar. It would just be nice to see a wider variety of projects made with her products. I suspect she prefers growing slowly, though, and she probably had a large influx of customers due to Crop and Create.

The greetery is definitely one of my favorite companies. Betsy’s designs are amazing and her design team is stupendous. I’m a big card caser. I love the process but I don’t love coming up with designs so I really appreciate companies who can inspire me. I have tons of her products and adore them. I also really love scrappy tails crafts (I suck at linking technology). I love making I interactive cards. Jennifer McGuire has about 4 videos with her products including her pop up house, birdhouse, pop up vase, the amazing book die, and her spinners. I am mostly able to find sales on her stuff abd get it 20% off. She has good inspiring videos. Love her stuff.

I love the new release threads! I find myself saying “I’ll just look, I won’t buy anything” a lot as I grab my debit card 😂
