I'm not a candle person but I do like some light, clean home fragrance. I've decided to get some Pura diffusers because they have a big selection of scent options and I like that you can have two fragrances in a diffuser and set a schedule for each.
I don't necessarily want to have the same fragrance throughout the house, but I also don't want them to feel jarring as you move from room to room (I intend to only have them come on every 3-4 hours for 30 minutes on the lowest setting and will stagger those time periods so all units aren't going at once).
So, if you use Pura, how do you select fragrances that blend well together but each have their own "personality"? Any advice is most welcome... including scents to avoid.

I love the Pura diffusers! I have them all over the house. In the summer I use Capri Blue Volcano. During the winter I use Thymes Fasier Fir. I signed up for the monthly subscription, where I have the cartridges (or whatever they are called) sent every month.
I like that the app allows you to have them turn off when your cell phone leaves the house and come back automatically when you and your phone return.

Volcano and Frasier Fir have been favorites of mine for a long time-as candles. I don’t have a Pura, but, have thought of getting some For awhile now.
How long do the cartridges last?

I just got mine so I can’t give a real world estimate but the site says about 3 weeks if running all the time at a 5 (out of 10) level.
I have mine running for 15 minutes every hour and a half from 5 am - 9!pm at a 1 level (I can’t imagine 5! 2 was too strong for me!) So I’m expecting them to last around six weeks, hoping for 8.
Subscriptions for the scents are definitely the way to go - you get 30% off vs a one-time order. You can change the scents in your sub at any time, cancel at any time, and set the frequency of delivering between 1-3 months.

I love my Pura! Can't name a favorite scent off hand, but I love the way it works. You can set the scent strength, and if you dial it down the cartridges last a long time. I only have mine set to run when I am going to be in that room. It's cool that you can run it from your phone!
I have a Aera scent diffuser, and hands down the Pura is better. Better price, by far. The Aera makes noise too. I do really like a couple of the Area scents, but I am done. Too costly.

I looked on their site briefly, but, didn’t seem to find any info. Is it supposed to be less toxic than like your B&BW scented stuff? Sorry, don’t mean to hijack.

Aera has a specific pet odor cartridge that was highly reviewed and it really does work well. Not sure how it works but it seems to actually eliminate any odor vs. masking it. Pura doesn't have anything like that. But otherwise, I agree that Pura is way better. A lot more reasonably priced, better scent selection, more flexible.

I bought an Aera mini first I didn't even know Aera had Minis! I bet I would like that better. I have the counter top one, and it 'purrs'. DH is always asking "What's that noise". It's not super loud, but just enough that you stop to try and figure out what is making that 'noise'. My favorite Aera scent is Sandalwood. But $60 for just the scent cartridge ... ooof. They get a little spendy.

I love my Puras! I got introduced around early November and then there was all kinds of discounts out there so I have a healthy supply of fragrances and several “machines”. I’m finding I really like citrus and floral scents. I love Golden Mimosa and Mandarin Coliander. I also like Peony and most of the nest scents.
If you try a scent and don’t like it, they’ll replace it. They also have a rewards system. You can set your scents up as a subscription and save on the cost. It’s easy to change or cancel a subscription.
