What basic scissors do you like? I had Fiskars from Costco (the 3 pk you can get) but they seem to dull out quickly and one pair even has a chip.
Smooth, easy glide, no stick is what I am looking for.
Let me know which one you like.

i have a million scissors for different tasks. my favorite is a lightweight pair Wescott titanium bonded scissors that are non-stick.
for fabric i like my fiskars titanum scissors. super sharp and gives a clean cut. fiskars sent it to me as a replacement years ago when i sent in some fiskars eyelet setters that were pure junk. i think i got the better end of that return. those titanium scissors are amazing.
i use tim holtz fine tip scissors for paper fussy cutting. i also like the fiskars micro tip scissors because they have a coil for easy open. less pressure on the thumb.
i also have a pair of serrated utility scissors i love. they are non-stick and from fiskars, i think.
i also have some vintage gold gingher scissors that i like.

Laugh if you must but for scrapping, I still use (and love) my old CM scissors! I also have 2 pairs of Cutter Bees - one at my scrapbook table for fine/tiny work or the rare fussy-cut, and the other pair on my sewing table for snipping threads. For fabric I have the Fiskars titanium scissors mentioned by papersilly , and I LOVE them! They're only ever used for fabric and my family knows upon pain of I-don't-know-what to never ever use them for anything but fabric. I also have various other pairs of scissors for different uses all over the house - the Costco/Scotch ones mentioned above for gift-wrapping, OXO & KitchenAid kitchen scissors, various Fiskars/other generic desk scissors. ETA: Re-read and realized I didn't actually answer your question - one of my all-purpose desk scissors are heavy-duty Fiskars (not fabric scissors) that are really good, and I also have a pair of Wescott titanium scissors that I bought as back-up fabric scissors, but use for general purpose and they are also very nice.

LOL. i bought the Costco Scotch scissors for him to use. no specialty fiskars for him. BTW, do your scissors have the smooth, rounded, slightly lighter orange handles? mine do. i've never seen them on the market. they came directly from Fiskars.

I love my orange handle Fiskars. They are a work horse. I also like the cutter bees for fussy cutting. And TH's titanium scissors are great when cutting sticky stuff.

I have 5 pairs of scissors on my desk, oy! I use different ones for different things. I cannot pick a favorite.
1. red handled Scotch brand for anything - and because of that, they tend to get beat up within a year or two 2. Fiskars titanium for sticky stuff 3. Beautiful pair of Kai scissors for fabric only. And even though I live alone, I've makred them on the handle AND on the blade that they are only to be used for fabric (in case a crafty friend or my son tries to use them when visiting). 4. small pair of Kai that I use for small stuff) 5. EK Success yellow handled, are these Cutter Bees (even smaller that small Kai) for fussy stuff

Oops, it turns out that my scissors I was calling Cutter Bees, are actually the Westcott Titanium 5" equivalent ( THESE) instead of EK Success Brand Cutter Bees. (So, to answer MichyM 's question - if they're yellow and black and say EK Success, they're Cutter Bees.) Mine are almost identical, just slightly different colors and say Westcott Titanium on them. papersilly , my fabric scissors are pale gray, not orange - they're pretty old though (like 20+ years). Still going strong!

My favourite big scissors are from Stampin' Up! - they're very sturdy/heavy and cut beautifully, so sharp.
I like the Cutterbee's for fussy cutting. I have the Stampin' Up! equivalent of those, as well, and they're just as good.
I have the Tim Holtz really long bladed scissors, too, and they cut well but they're kind of serated or something so feel bumpy (not sure how to explain it) when i cut do I don't love them just because of the feel but they cut very well.

I have A LOT of scissors but my favorites which are currently sold out are both the small and large ones from the stamp market. The large ones as general purpose. The small ones for fussy cutting and a lot of my papercrafting needs. They are non stick and I love they don’t get bumped up by all my sticky tape and glue. I also really like the Fiskars titanium. They work great.

Cutter Bee for small stuff and fussy cutting. General purpose scissors from Fiskars for general stuff. I also have the large and small Tim Holtz scissors but hardly ever use them because of the serrated blade. They are tough and work great, but I don't like the serrated edge. I also have some smaller scissors I got cheap somewhere. Can't remember where or what brand but I use them for cutting adhesive and foam tape and stuff and they NEVER get sticky! Best cheap item I've ever gotten I think! LOL!

My original Cutter Bee. They are the original version (before the original company got bought out), teflon coated, sharp as sharp, and still cutting beautifully, despite how many years I’ve had them.

They are tough and work great, but I don't like the serrated edge. I have the small ones but I feel the same about the serrated edge. I ended up putting my TH pair in the kitchen.

Fiskateer here. My favorite are the 2 flamed Fiskars scissors given to me by 2 of The Leads. My revered is the one with my Fiskateer number, I don't use it. It just hangs on the wall.
