an upside 'e' is whimsical, right? More 2008 photos from moving into the old house. CB PP, punched snowflakes, clear nuvo drops in centre of the snowflakes, Scrapbook.com alphas - and yes, in Florida, once a year, they make 'snow' (more like crushed ice) for the kids to play in until it melts...this was from 2008 scraps and an old (2007) Paper Studio sticker and red pops of colour drops

Linda, I love your Under the Mistletoe page. Clean and classy and the colors are so perfect for your photo. Love the way you did the title. Very pretty. ~Great job on your Thanksgiving page. That pumpkin paper is really fun and I love the stamped pumpkins. I need to try stamping on layouts. ~Halloween costume pages are my favorite. I love the Thomas Train costume and every little girl needs a turn to be a princess. So cute. The candy corn and goodies paper is perfect.~LOL, yes the upside down E is perfectly whimsical. I’m glad I’m not the only one to do things like that.~ Your room looks so nice. Great idea to scrap the before and after. ~The snow fun pages are wonderful. That paper is gorgeous against the colors in your photo. Beautiful pages with so much fun evident, plus fabulous design to use all those photos.~ That’s one deep hole they dug. Love the red, white, and blue papers to honor the flag. I love a flagpole and hope we always have one in our yard.~Your cat layout is the sweetest. I love the card for title and the up-close photos. Just that little strip of cat paper is all you need for a fantastic layout. ~I love the background paper on your Game Night. I love how you scrap just normal family activities. Your family will be forever grateful for your labor of love. gramma, I left love for you in the gallery. You choose the sweetest, cutest images and always have a perfect sentiment. I am so impressed that you send so many cards for soldiers. You are one amazing scrapper! The sunshine cards are amazing. I love your inking on them. Fabulous. grammadee, I left love in the gallery for your cute cards. I am amazed at how many fun and different cards you can come up with for your cowboy loving family. So adorable. Your family is lucky to have you. craftymom101, your page is gorgeous. I love the soft colors in your plaid and the bright yellow that brings the eye right to that sweet photo. Your embellishment clusters are always perfect. Such a well designed page. Here are 2 more Cousin Camp pages based on a Sketchy Sat. sketch. My scanner didn't like the height of the jewels so the striped paper looks gray. It actually matches in real life.

So many beautiful creations! I have been posting my cards on the other thread for carmakers. But I created this mini album and I guess better share that here. The idea to have all my niece's school pics collected in one place. www.instagram.com/reel/ChAfjkMpP1G/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Okay, time to leave some love... Starting on page FOUR: vexedangel, your Disney page is so fanciful! Perfect for a visit with a princess. And the embossed gold accents on your cards give them regal elegance. Love how you took colouring outside the lines so literally in your journal--and that you call it your "wreck journal"! On to page FIVE: vexedangel, I am amazed by the variety in your beautiful card designs. The one with the Rapunzel scraps is really cute--love the depth those tucked in flowers gives it. And you have foiling down to a science. I need to take my Glimmer Foil machine out of the cupboard and put it to work. And OMG that rainbow backpack page is AMAZING!!! Love that technique you used to frame the photo! And awwww... the Stage page is adorable: the photo is sweet, and I love the vintage look of all the other elements. Glad you are feeling better, Linda. That Explore the Universe game looks fun--and the perfect excuse (errrr reason) to use that Carta Bella! Your Mistletoe title is marvelous--the page may have taken some time, but it is well worth it. Congrats on taking your stamps out! Love the layering on the Thanksgiving page and the candy corn on the Halloween LO. craftymom101, your Finny exploring page is cute! He does look like he has had a good run in the fresh air! Love how you did all your layering and embellishing around the photo block and left so much white space. I struggle with that. And your winery tour page has a fun vibe with all the scattered jewels and hearts. Great photos. You two look so happy together and then you added the wine glasses and the lawn ornament. Lovely. And on to page SIX: Of course an upside down e is whimsical, Linda--love it! And I love that you are scrapping photos from 2008. Sweet pic's of the kids playing in the "snow": glad they create that experience for the kids and that you got photos of it. And I like the colour blocking on the construction(?) page. That kitty PL card is cute, as are kitty's photos. And your Game Night looks fun. craftymom101, your awesome page is, well, AWESOME! Love the way you used that strip of gold cs and the torn edged strips. The story is a great slice of your life, and the scattered hearts, stars, and jewels seem to represent all the surprises those kids throw you. Besides that, the whole page looks happy! There is love for nylene, scrappyrabbit, AussieMeg, cannmom, gramma and refugeepea in the Gallery, and for your lovely peacock in Flickr, MARIBETHR. Whew! I think I am caught up!

I've been working on a mini-album for my nephew, but I won't share the pages here. I enjoy gifting albums and mini-albums are easier to knock out (and use up lots of scraps!). I can share this other layout, for an older sketchy saturday Sketchy Saturday May 21 2022 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr

I'm still behind on comments - hopefully Monday I can play catch-up. I'm doing an online crop this weekend (SG on FB). This is from an Allison Davis sketch - modified to fit my smaller page and the photos I was using. PP and alphas are Pinkfresh. Flower die cut was a RAK, I think, circles are punched

This one is for tomorrow's (13 July) Sketchy Saturday adapted for 8.5x11 and using PhotoPlay Meow Last weekend's Sketchy Saturday (Aug 6) Reminsce Game Night except the backing paper which is maybe Paper Studio but maybe not. Sketchy Saturday (21 May) and it was supposed to be an attempt to meet POTW #12 but while I got the rhyming title and I used tone on tone embellishments, I missed the part where I needed to pull the colours for the tone on tone from the background (which I didn't ink) so...that didn't work out

scrappyrabbit - I love your pumpkin layout - great pictures and fun papers and embellishments! This one is the Sketchy Saturday from 2 July - adapted to 8.5x11 and with different photo sizes/placements. I use the Dark Rainbow paper pad from Michaels for all the PP and embellishments - and once again prove that I'm not good at photographing layouts, lol.

great layouts jediannie - love the sweater paper and embellishments! And the rainbow colours of your year layout! This one is for the 18 Jun Sketchy Saturday - modified for 8.5x11 and only a single page - I mostly used the left hand page of the sketch for inspiration, rotating it to work better for my photos. Please excuse the glare on my layout photo - it's grey and rainy here. Paper Studio PP, Reminisce Game Night stickers, journalling block is die cut. 28 May Sketchy Saturday - adapted to 8.5x11 - I only used the middle half of the sketch to make this one-page. Scenic Route PP (a generous RAK), punched heart, die cut heart and journalling block This one was done for a recipe challenge at another site - Photoplay Meow PP/sticker, die cut heart, embossing folder, punch circle, and button shaped brads
