For POTW #12   I made the background paper with Distress inks. I made a vellum stencil with my hole punches and used it to add the Bokeh dots with Picket Fence white distress ink. |

AussieMeg, what a fun design on this page. I love the the way the photos get tucked into the waves. You have love in the gallery. Linda, I love your cards. That is such a beautiful cover plate and I love the color tucked behind that shows through the holes. I love the tiny scallops on the top and bottom. The butterfly and sentiment inside are lovely. What a great idea for cards to have on hand for birthdays that crop up. This is for POTW #11. It is inspired by joblackford's beautiful floral cards.  Happy Birthday

not much scrappy time lately but I did manage a card today - embossing folder, die cut butterflies (w/popdots), stamped sentiment...  And I finally got my 2nd layout done for Shimelle's Use What You Buy stamping class - it was tough to translate to 8.5x11. I used 3 blues and a silver - Technique Tuesday word stamps, Stampin' Up kitty stamps, not sure on the texture stamps (they were a RAK).  |

and my first September layout is also from Shimelle's Use What you Buy - stamping class  A simple layout using Reminisce PP and stickers - small heart is punched, larger one is die cut, tag is a SG printable, I think  vaguely inspired by the Sept sketch from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine - Chatterbox PP (RAK) - tag, camera, and heart are die cut, circle is punched, enamel dots  |
